There are two versions of almost every disease in the game. The first you get from an animal and the second you get from a trap, what we discovered is that you can have both version at the same time. In fact it's that very thing which allows the true atronach to be a thing. So you could have both versions of Brain Rot to get a total of -50 magicka.

Hmm.. That has me wondering now, with the Ultimate Atronach, you can't be a High Elf due to having 50+ Magicka, added onto the Base Magicka. What I am thinking (and will be trying) is to see if being a High Elf with the 50- Magicka with the Ultimate Atronach.

The fascinating thing I and Goldie have found is that High Born negates the True Atronach, so an Altmer, once a day, can have magicka regen. It's called the True Atronach, by the way, not Ultimate.

Ah, apologises, been trying for a while to get the Ultimate Atronach (think its that one, the one with unlitmited casting of Flames etc to work as a High Elf). However, the True Atronach.... Hmmm... Correct me if I am wrong but would the Apprentice Stone along side with the Atronach make it have regen? I hope not, as if it works this willl definetly help me with the Mage of Julianos.
The Apprentice Stone is being used as a refernece to the older TES games, when High Elves had a weakness to Magic.
Thanks Lis

Yeah, I sometimes use Apprentice for High elves. I'm wondering about the apprentice stone too, but so far I've only tried the combo with the Atronach stone. Hmm.

Hmm, interesting question. My best guess is that it won't cause you to regenerate, since as far as I know despite the fact it claims to double magicka regen, isn't it in reality just a + 100% magicka regen effect just like the various mage robes (which don't break the true atronach). Which, yes is a doubling of your magicka regen if you have no other fortify magicka regen effects.
Your question reminded me of that vampire ring that is unique in that it changes the base magicka regen from 3 to 5 (out of combat, I forget the in combat values), and now I'm wondering if that would make a difference. Most likely it won't since it's changing the value that get's multiplied by the fortify regen effects and since the True Atronach bugs it to an almost permanent zero 5 x 0 is still going to be 0 much like 3 x 0.

Ok, it took more than an hour. Due to getting the Atronach and the Apprentice then getting Witbane... So restarted and got Witbane first, the both the Atronach and the Apprentice and it works! Query though, how are you able summon Atronachs? Won't they be absorbed by the Atronach Stone?

Now, I get the idea of refreshing the page! I will later test out the Ring of Eridute to see what it is like. Using the Apprentice Stone, with the Atronach with Witbane and the Necromancers' Amulet makes the total Magicka for a High Elf 250, at Level 1!

From what I remember Liss saying, the bug somehow nullifies part of the bug where you absorb your own summons. If I remember correctly she still had the chance to absorb summons when doing so with a staff, but when she used a spell she never had it happen.
As for the Apprentice, Ha I was right :D Bethesda really dropped the ball with that stone. It doesn't even do what it says on the tin. In fact they did the same thing with the atronach. They should have made them change the base magicka regen, so no matter what fortify magicka regen effects you had it was still doing as it claimed. So for the Apprentice, change the base to 6 instead of 3 (out of combat) permanently doubling your magicka regen and the Atronach should have halved it to 1.5 so you'd always have half the regen of another character with the same fortify effects and magicka level.
