Quest Marker Series, Vol. 1: Is it Possible to Solo ESO?

Already put a few points into magicka, but nothing major, just like 2 I think. So that's good, I can keep a skill or two around that uses magika. The enchant idea is good, all the more so because it's already one of my crafting skills. Thanks for the advice!

Nice one, Patriach. I read this last week but didn't have time to comment, and I should've liked it then but better late than never.

I'd maybe suggest adding tips on crafting -- stuff like:

    • Which passives to prioritize (definitely the ones that let you research more traits / reduced research times, and maybe the research assistant and/or better materials from deconstructing as well)
    • Tips for preparing for writs and how helpful they are for gaining loot and mats
    • How to best use crafting for solo players -- which skills are most important, and how best to use them (e.g., I think provisioning for food is pretty key for any character)

Sorry, Teccam. I iknow I'm a bit late, but for some reason, your comment slipped past my radar. I am definitely planning on a full crafting guide, and will incorporate all of your suggestions. Thanks!

As someone whose ESO playstyle is almost invariably solo (I have few friends to play with and I don't bother with guilds ), I wholly agree with your article. Kudos!

Thanks, Ian! Some days I just like to hang around a quiet corner of Tamriel and take in the beauty of it all.

ESO is, indeed, a very pretty game.

Is it bad that I am level 24 in the Alik'r Desert?

Not if you can handle it.  Some builds are stronger than others. My advice here was to be taken generally and was meant for newer or casual players. I've taken my Redguard Dragonknight to zones that are ten levels above him. When my sorcerer was a young v1 (which now is lvl 50 - no CPs), I took him to the group-focused v16 (now CP 160) areas of Craglorn. It all depends on your set-up and playstyle.

Just be careful tackling world bosses at that level.

Makes sense. I'm not struggling too hard against the enemies here with my Orc Dragonknight.
