Technically, then, she *is* "even older" than you, Paul :P

I'm going to be 37 next year, so I still have a bit of catching up to do age-wise... but with three 5-year-olds running around it sometimes feels as though I've lived an extra lifetime since they were born!

yeah, you a whippersnapper. *shakes cane at Paul*

Alright potential Polwygles, thanks so much for your patience on this matter while we were yacking up a storm over at EC about this project. I will be sending a PM to those who indicated they wanted in on the Thrassian Task force of restoration AWESOME! We will then hash out our best course of action as other options have been thrown at me, but I am of a notion that I don't care how it gets done, so long as it gets done. If you have a method you prefer using, use it. I am appreciative of your offered help and I am very much looking forward to working with you to get this done. :D

Also, I have sent friend requests to the Polwygles.

    Damn, this site is old!

Back to the matter at hand, I would add to Paul's requirements that the site's group of rebuilders should tick off of a list what they did. There is no need to have multiple people trying to rebuild what has already been done.

Hi Hawkard. When we sorted out the tags, we had a spread sheet and communication within the host team members involved in the project to make sure that there was no overlap. This is a project overseen by me, trust me, we will be organized. :) I also plan on having a thread that traces our progress. I think members should know exactly what is being done.

That is exactly what I was hoping for. Also, the communication aspect is important too.

A little late to the party but I want to recommend Evernote for capturing the old builds in order to have a reference.  I'm currently playing through the Blood Archer character and had used the build page for reference several times.  I discovered I could use the Evernote page clipper and it saved the entire page for me in my Evernote file.  (I used the "simple page" function and it copied all the images and text nicely.)  This way I have a copy availble to reference online and in my Evernote files on my hard drive should the old Ning go down.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to get several people working on it unless someone wanted to create a shared notebook on Evernote and then go through and take the time to archive all of the builds themself?  I have no idea how long that would take...

This is a monumental task as-is, but the way I'm doing it, it's darned nigh impossible: add a photo to an album, save, add another photo to an album, save... ad infinitum. It seems like I have to click several pages to load an image, and depending on my connection, that can take a while. Is there any way to batch import images to an album?

Also, if you upload an image to a build, it creates an individual album for just that image which leaves me with half a million Group Photo albums. Now I'm not OCD by any means, but even I find that  insanely sloppy, and it makes sifting through my image albums rather tedious. To avoid that, I add photos directly to a specific album, but once again, I'm back to the one-at-a-time uploading... it takes forever.

A final question: how do you bring images from an album straight into the build. I've been opening up the album, copying the image, and pasting it into the build, but you have to open two or three pages to make that happen... also takes forever.

What am I doing wrong, and how can I do it right/faster?

Dude, stop and I'll send you a PM. We are organizing this to make it easier. At Rosh Hashans service now, but I'll write you soon. I think you accepted my Friend Request, yes? Nobody has to go at this alone.

Not to worry. I haven't started... would even know where to begin. This is just something I've noticed when trying to reformat my own builds (not even halfway finished yet xD).
