(NB/ Contracts assigned by the guild are paid for from the central guild fund, which is different to the guild fund (ie, the branch fund) which is used to pay for Urgent missions and to pay for branches.
Note that certain contracts will have a greatly lowered payment, as this is a contract supplied by the guild and thus the completer of the contract receives the full reward, rather than having a percentage deducted and added to the branch fund as would occur with other contracts.
If somebody completes a contract not assigned to their specialisation, they will receive a payment increase of 10 Septims (this is a constant). Corrupt contracts do not receive this payment increase.
Note that Multiple people can accept the same contract and complete it in their own games.)

"That is all for now, associates. I hope to hear of your success soon."

"To start, Administrator, I'd like to accept the Guard Duty contract at Kvatch. After that's completed and those damned daedra driven away from our office for a while, at least, I'd enjoy closing the Oblivion Gate outside of Kvatch as well." - Murag

I'm guessing I can accept two contracts at once, right? And by the Gate outside Kvatch, do you mean the one RIGHT outside the gates for the main quest, or one of the other near Kvatch?

You can accept two contracts at once.

    And yes, Kvatch Gate.

Ok cool. So my game glitched and the scamps stopped coming after the initial 3, and I did wait around for a while....I don't think that's supposed to happen, so I guess I'll skip that contract.

"I went inside and closed the Oblivion Gate, sealing off the daedra from Kvatch. I saved that guard Iland while I was inside, and sent him off to help Savlian guard the camp while I was away."

"Excellent work, Hireling. I will pass on your payment as soon as Savlian supplies me with the gold." I'll update the leaderboard with your gold and reputation in the morning.

"Aye, thanks Administrator. I'm sure Savlian will be quick with the money."

Alright, thanks Kael. I was kinda considering starting an Ambassador as well, if that's alright. Searching for cool and expensive things in shops seems really interesting, and I've never really used Mercantile or Illusion or Speechcraft before. I just wanted to have a guy with the right skills to do the Ambassador missions, so that I have enough to do without hunting you down and demanding more contracts for my Guard :P

You're allowed to do missions for any specialisation, you know, regardless of your own, they're just harder. In fact, it's almost encouraged because you get a higher gold reward for it.
As for starting a second character, I think it would be better for you to stick with one. You could get Murag killed and start a new one or just stick with him. I say this because it's probably a better idea to focus your attention on one character, and increase his rank and reputation. Although if dividing your attention is ok with you, it's fine with us. So, your decision.

Yeah, that's a good point.....Ambassador would probably be the better choice as far as a unique playthough and better rp for me......I'll think about it a wee bit and let you know.

"I wish to take on the Potions Supply contract. I shall have them in by the end of the night."
