Vampiric grip has two components:
- Grab Actor
- Bloody grip cloak effect
The cloak is cast on yourself constantly (it's a concentration spell) so I guess it's this part that you are absorbing? If this is the case it is also the part of the spell that absorbs the health and does damage so when it's absorbed does it stop doing any damage?
Never thought about it but it might be an interesting use. The damage isn't very good (only 15/s, halved on master) but the spell provides amazing crowd control, I'd gladly trade the damage for the ability to use it indefinetly. Might be something interesting to try out with 100% absorb via potions.
