So, I have a bit of bad news, it was recently brought to our attention that the Modder’s Conclave has been wiped clean meaning that all the discussions that had been posted within the group are now gone. As of posting this we do not know what caused this and are investigating, as such we would like to advise everyone reading this to create backups of any content they may have in other groups to minimise any damage as the result of this occurring to another part of the site. We would also like to assure everyone that we are currently looking into the cause of this wipe and the possibility of restoring the lost content. We will provide an update once we know more.

Gosh, I was scared I didn't have a back-up of my New Vegas modding guide. It's a guide for everyone who wants it as much as it is for me, lol.
Isn't there a way to access some kind of page archive? I remember we used those archives back when we made the move from Ning to SE and ended up losing some pictures/discussions.

So, I won't say that we won't be able to recover anything, but I will mention that it's going to be harder than with CB. The Hosts at the time knew that the photos were going to dissapear beforehand, and spent a fair amount of time saving content, and could warn people in advance. That's a lot easier than trying to find deleted content after the fact with absolutely no warning.
I've been able to get some stuff so far, but it's only been content that was tagged 'officially' back when I was hosting the group, so it's not exactly a complete...or even particularly detailed list of content. If anyone else can search through their history for anytime they've used the Modder's Conclave (you can search for the group by using theurl linked below) and then provide me with just a clean link for whatever they accessed it might help me recover more content. Unfortunetly my gut says that the group just wasn't busy enough that much was viewed but I'm hoping I can sort of...chain jump around content and find it.

I think so but there's no guarantee the archives would have saved the specific page you're looking for.

Yeah, the issue there is that as far as I can tell the Wayback Machine is pretty much useless for figuring out when the issue started. It's got a fair bit of data which is what lets me access a lot of old content, but it seems like at best I can get a lot of stuff from before 2018 and nothing from the last year or so. It definitely can't be used to figure out when everything was deleted.
But good suggestion Pocky and thanks for dropping it in :D

When searching for pages with the url history DB mentioned try replacing the "https//" part of the url with this line.
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:
It will bring you to a cached version of that page if one exists.
I've managed to get this: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/8/topic_id/10009
Edit: Found this too https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/8/topic_id/9359

Welp, found a few more with a bit of digging. Maybe someone will archive all these.
I got these 4 from fucking around with links in the following url. Perhaps someone else can see if there's a way to dig deeper:

Sweet thanks Ebon, I've got a pretty good chunk of older content through Wayback Machine, so I should be able to get a lot of the content from...essentially 2018 and before. Doesn't help figure out the issue but at least I think between both methods we're going to be able to recover a fair amount of content if Social Engine can't.
Really appreciate the work mate, it's been really useful stuff :)
