Hey there everyone Dragonborn1421 and Caesar Strong-Heart here with the first test of our reign over this group. We decided to start off with something fun and simple, well the simple part is up to you but the base idea is simple anyway.

Your Goal: is to create a new character of any race and finish one main quest of your choice Dragonborn, Skyrim or Dawnguard. What's your challenge with this one you may ask. Well you must use fire in some way as your only attacking option. We don't care if it comes in the form of Spells or Enchantments but it must be Fire.

Obviously we will be more impressed if you do it on a higher difficulty and the different quest lines will be more impressive with Dawnguard (Vampire) and Dawnguard (Dawnguard) also being on different levels. The order is from lowest (less impressive) to highest (most impressive).

    Dawnguard (Dawnguard side)

    Skyrim

    Dawnguard (Volkihar side)

    Dragonborn

What you have to do: This is a speed run of course so when you finish your Main Quest of choice then post it below, all you need to write is your Time, Difficulty, Quest of Choice, Your Strategies, Places you had difficulty at and the places you found easy.

How do you judge who wins when the quests aren't really the same length? Do you have a point of reference how long each quest line is?

is it ok to use glitches? because i can skip over half of the main quest if i glitch through a wall.

I do have some sort of idea on how quickly you can speed run the Main Quest and Dragonborn, Dragonborn takes a while extra because you have to speed run part of the main quest as well as cover its Questline. Dawnguard is around the same length as Dragonborn but is much easier, Skyrim's Main Quest is easily the longest because it's filled with filler whilst the other two are just I portent quest after quest (well pretty much). Admittedly the whole idea is slightly flawed but the difficulty of the quest is the main thing in question here, I'm probably going to spread run Dawnguard and Dragonborn (or one if Caesar could do he other) so I'll use my time/s as a general middle way, not that great and not that bad. if you have any further questions I can answer them whenever so feel free to ask, and thanks for asking this one, it did need clearing up.

Right. Plus we just did a speed run field test so the four people who did participate probably won't wanna do it again. Gotta make those field tests really unique, challenging, fun, and easy to get into.

Hmm. it's fine if you choose to but you wouldn't gain any points for originality which is a huge factor in these Tests, of course if your speed is improved in a major way then we take that into consideration as well so if you feel the reward outwiehgs the risk then feel free.

Yeah that was the main idea, plus it gives people more freedom and hopefully will allow people to either choose their favourite or maybe one they haven't done, I think we'll do this for all three of the elements (depending on how this one goes down). By the way Alastor did you have any ideas stored up or something (or a list of previous challenges) that you could send me.

Hey guys, why don't one of you try sending Paul a message and ask him to feature this at some point? It will bring it some deserved attention.

Already one step ahead of you there Twisted, I sent it yesterday

I have a few I'll PM you but you're missing my point. Speed runs are very time consuming and few people will want to join in on that no matter which element they have to use in some way. I'm saying to in a new direction, forget speed runs. Here, I'll send you a few ideas I had as examples.
