I guess I did completely miss your point on this one, sorry about that, I understand what you mean now and I guess I agree in the end, I was planning on later changing it up (they weren't all going to be speed runs) but this was just an easy one to start with. Thanks for the input and help here Alastor.

Hey Everyone Dragonborn here with two things to say about this test, well technically three. First of Bump More importantly however Id like to know if anyone is participating in this test and I'd like some feedback on what you think about it, you know is it a good idea, layout and that general sort of thing. The third and final thing is We'd like to have these tests fairly often (once a month roughly) but we need ideas, something I like (speed runs for example) might not be what everyone else likes, so if you've got any ideas for Futrue challenges then leave them in the suggestions box (or whatever we call it here) it's at the top of the main page and I'll link it later.

I like the general idea really, and I think it's well presented. The problem with this test is that it's so similar to the Naked and Afraid test which we just had (both being speed runs). Not sure what else there is to do that fits though.

Use a plate to walk into embassy then pick up papers and it updates for that mission

Just had a quick couple of questions, since I'm interested in trying this. Are you considering the challenge "started" as soon as character creation is finished in Helgen, or when the quest-line itself is started?

Also if the challenge doesn't start at CC how much preparation are we allowed to have before we start the quest-line? For instance, ranking skills, leveling, getting weapons, armor, spells, and/or shouts? Edit: I think it would be good to set some baselines or boundaries aside from just using fire, because running a character on Legendary at level 5 is way different from running one on the same difficulty at level 40

You need to make a NEW character for this challenge, you cannot use an existing one. The actual challenge starts the second you start the new character(on the carriage to Helgen). You could rank skills, as long as you add the time that it took you to raise the skill(s).

Aye sorry about that Jeremy, that's no me, I'll change it up tomorrow so everyone knows about things that I forgot to mention. Thanks Caeser for clarifying that in my absence.

Cool, that sounds a bit more fair than what I had in my head. I'll give this a try when I get an opportunity and post my results. Thanks for the response =]

No worries. I've never done a speed run or challenge before, even though I've been playing Skyrim since release, so I don't really know all that should go into it like others on here do. Still, seems like a fun concept!
