They're closely related and certain to feed into one another. Accounts are inconsistent on the Bottlecap Mine and the device is made differently depending on region, yet all variations are known by the same name and share specific characterisitics. The innerworkings of the wasteland's currency tie directly into it, implying a certain value of both cap and Bottlecap Mine. Should be interesting to unravel.

I have a case for you. Ghouls - Why do they go feral. We all know about ghouls and that eventually they all go feral. But why. I know that some ghouls are shunned by society and they go feral from madness and lonelyness. But what about ghouls like Hancock, Gob and Raul. They all have a friend that would die for them (LW, Sole Survivor, Courier) and a home. They say that they are happy. But, I've found infromation that they will all go feral anyway. I just don't get it.

I'll claim this one and see where it leads. And yeah, you can search for Edd's old articles on ghouls I believe. I'll get on it in the morning

I'm just gonna throw up another fun one that'd be cool to see and not too hard to investigate. Sort of a travelers guide one: I want to have a guide to Goodneighbor. Like a case that explains every nook and cranny in detail including persons, buildings, how leadership works, etc. Even better would be an added summaritive explanation of Hancock and how he came to power. Might require some questioning when you befriend him ;p

OK Detectives, I have a case for you. In particular I am interested in the nuances for Melee combat with melee weapons (using the Big League perk), so things like knives, tire irons, sledgehammers, etc. (Not boxing gloves, Swan's Fist, etal).
More specifically, I am interested in how the weapons weight (ie attack speed factor) may influence overall weapon damage and how to derive what weapon may be the best when comparing two or more weapons. The example presented below is just one sample of evidence I have gathered to get you started. I look forward to what your digging and analysis unveils.
As a specific example to give you your first lead in the case, I present Exhibits A and B.
Exhibit A is a Baseball Bat that has been modified with lengths of chain wrapped around the barrel. In weighing this particular bat it comes in at 4.1 lbs and damage of 33; speed is SLOW.
Exhibit B is a basic Sledgehammer, no modifications. It weights in at 12 lbs, damage of 32 and speed SLOW.
A basic query to start your investigation...
1. While both items are labeled SLOW for attack speed, does the physical weight further slow down attacks (or not) and does this affect the ability to bring damage to an enemy. And if so, how?
Happy sleuthing to an aspiring Valentine out there.
