As a specific example to give you your first lead in the case, I present Exhibits A and B.

Exhibit A is a Baseball Bat that has been modified with lengths of chain wrapped around the barrel.  In weighing this particular bat it comes in at 4.1 lbs and damage of 33; speed is SLOW.

Exhibit B is a basic Sledgehammer, no modifications.  It weights in at 12 lbs, damage of 32 and speed SLOW.

A basic query to start your investigation...

1. While both items are labeled SLOW for attack speed, does the physical weight further slow down attacks (or not) and does this affect the ability to bring damage to an enemy.  And if so, how?

[/blockquote]I'm ok with whatever, but that might be to vague.  We have the stats...I'm more interested in the inner workings of those stats.  Do all medium weapons swing at the same speed?  Does the weight affect the speed ratio?  This could adversely affect the actual DPS and damage ability if it does.  So really a more in depth look at how they work and how to compare (accurately) two similarly categorized weapons (as I've used in my example).  Is it truly 1pt difference per hit?  Or does the weight factor in allowing a lighter weapon to hit more frequently so while it may be a -1 in listed damage; per five hits you may actually get another full damage register; in return making it a better weapon for multiple hit battles.

I have a case for you guys, and this one is about my favorite faction in the Fallout series. I would like to know a couple of things about Caesar's Legion.

1) How many people did the Legion start with originally?

2) Who were the original tribes they took over or made a truce with the Legion?

3) How far does the Legion stretch?

4) How did they learn Latin?
