For my sorcerer I'm trying to collect as many artifacts he can while maintaining the ideal of being his own master. Can anyone think of any reasons why he would do his apart from the whole lust for power thing? and which artifacts I shouldn't touch to maintain his independence

Since the Yokudan pantheon is so radically different from all the other faiths in Tamriel...
But, unlike the Yokudan gods, the Tamrielic Gods, and their power, are plainly felt...
...How would a devout Redguard reconcile his religion, in a world where gods he PLAINLY does not worship PLAINLY display power in the world? And (probably owing to game dev oversight) where his own gods seem to have no power at all.

I need help deciding the morality of a character. She comes from a family that has spawned heroes and monsters alike, so really it's more a matter of which side of her family she identifies with more.
