Field Test: David and Goliath

Come on up and see a brand new Field Test! This one was suggested by the one and only ALASTOR and BEN C.

    David and Goliath:

You my friend must meet the might Frost Giant Karstaag's spirit in battle and defeat him. However, the player can only take three items into battle. This includes armour, weapons, potions, misc. items, etc. Powers and Shouts are fair game and magic has a limit.

    Some simple Rules include:

1: You must use only 3 items
2: you may only carry 40 Arrows/Bolts for free and if you wanted to use archery and needed more then you can use one item space for 30 extra.
3: Spells can be used but at the cost of an item space, we're going to be fair and say that three Novice, two Apprentice or one Adept (only one of these choices count) take up one item space. (and no Expert/Master Spells allowed, can't make the fight to easy)
4: No Console Commands can be used (Im sure this is obvious but I'll put it here anyway)
5: As for mods you can use them but you need to include a link to any that you use and they will be judged to be fair, if they are to unfair/OP you will lose points (well mental points anyway)
6: Your character must be undr level 40, you can use a character already made or if on PC artifice ally level one up but it must be under level 40, of course the lower level the higher the reward.

Upon completion of this task describe how you defeated Karstaag, what difficulty you played on, and how long it took. By saving right before the battle you can track your time easily. I emphasise creativity! MfD is the obvious road, let's take one less traveled, eh? Good luck, King David! or Queen Davida which ever you prefer.

Can't summon Dremora Lords because they're expert (which I forgot to mention so fair enough but yeah impossible) A Werewolf would have a very difficult time fighting him on higher difficulties as would a Vampire Lord (I assume anyway) and as for that rogue well that's possible (and easy) but not creative you lose points for that. And I forgot the big about level, do you think 40 is to high, I was thinking 30 but do many people have that low of a level character stored.

While the points you bring up are valid, there have been easy ways to beat almost every Field Test. The idea is that you find creative ways to look good while doing it.

Pretty much what Albino says, it's about creativity and finding interesting ways to do things, yep that's just me repeating myself isn't it.

Put Ben C's name up there with mine please. This was his idea to begin with so full credit to him ;)

Have you done this test yourself Dragonborn? I'd recommend beating it on your own via melee, archery, magic, and stealth just to see if you even need to put limits on spells and arrows. Just sayin. I'll probably take a stab at this one myself.

The point is that your character be wimpy and overcome great adversity. Personally, I'd ban werewolves and vampire lords.

The arrow rule can be tricked with Bound Bow spell. It is adept and has the highest damage (if we ignore smithing) I have my own idea so I would like to apply.

Well I guess it fits, fine I'll ban them.

I'd give it a go but I'm on holiday for this one (so I can't actually do it at the moment) it seems fun but nothing I can do. I'll throw Ben C up there with credit as well and you're up there as a participant correct.

Alright Balazs I'll put your name up, by the way there is no need to tell us what you're doing yet, and I wouldn't count that as tricking anything, it's using a spell to its full potential. Good Luck
