I don't really understand what you do in this game.

@Chris - The current team is actually entirely made up of former LRP GMs (Todd, Morthevin, Sand, and myself), so we are all well aware of it's prior history. I'm not sure how much you'd trust Todd's word after what happened, but we did make him agree to be more open with both the GMs and Players this time around, and I'm confident he'll keep to what he said.

@Medieval - Glad to hear you're excited about the group! I had a quick look over your character, and I think he'll fit in perfectly! As for how to play the game, most interactions will be done through chat boxes, so it should be fairly easy to get the hang of. I don't want to give too much away just yet, but I will see about getting a few "How to Play" guides to help new Players.

Alright, thanks!, a little question, when the activity ends, will be created a story of the chat boxes, like a participation story as NanoWrimo kind?

I'm very excited to finally see this come to fruition after hearing about it. Will there be a possibility to make factions of sorts by different characters joining forces? Because having a mafia-esque group would be right up my alley.

Regardless, I'll be submitting my character shortly. Can't wait to get started.

That is a really cool idea

Interesting. Haven't done it in a long time, but I do have experience RPing in an ES setting (I RPed in ESO for a while). I do have a question, though. In ESO, I played multiple characters at a time (my ESO character slots were filled with RP characters, actually), and honestly I find limiting myself to a single character stifling and boring. Could I make multiple characters in this Freeplay? Note that I'd only play one at a time (E.G, I wouldn't RP a conversaton between two of my chars), and there'd definitely be no overpowered characters. Also, my schedule is famously erratic, so I might not be able to play all the time. But, in any event, nice initiative! Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Caesar said: Funny, seeing as though Sand and I were the most active members in the last LRP group. Regardless, the people from Nuka-Srolls can think whatever they want. As long as members from our Site are interested, Skyrim: Freeplay will be a success.
You do realize that the people in question either aren't or barely are on Nuka, yes?

@Medieval - That is a possibility. I know with one of the LRP groups, when activity started to decline it was revamped, and it was mentioned that the previous town got destroyed in a fire. So it is possible we could do something like that.

@Tenebrous - Having multiple Characters is something we're still discussing, but it does seem very likely that you'll be able to have more than one. As for your schedule, feel free to pop into the group whenever you want (Once it's up, that is); we don't want people to feel pressured to play, so just do so whenever you're in the mood!

Awesome, thanks! Putting the finishing touches on the first char right now. Do you have an ETA as to when the group will be up? Really excited for this, now.

@Tenebrous - I'm going to go completely off the record here, and say about 2-3 weeks, tops. We are mostly done at this point, but we would like to take time to review everything, and make sure it's all up to scratch. I'm glad to hear you're excited about it, though! I look forward to seeing you and all the others in the group's chat soon!

@Henson - We were actually trying to avoid the two being compared to eachother, but as you can see from some of the above comments it didn't work quite as well as we'd hoped. Basically, the biggest difference between the two is that LRP was more combat/system focused, whereas Freeplay is intended to have as little restrictions as possible to make it a more enjoyable roleplaying experience. There'll still be a fair amount of combat and Quests, but it'll be far less restrictive than it was in LRP.

    Hello nostalgia!

Let's see if I can still do this as well as I could back in High School :D

I'm super excited for this! Thank you so much, Todd, for giving us all this chance to use our imaginations in a setting that we all love.
