  okay so my last post about the blades people seamed to like now, what are your thoughts on Esben ??
  
  do you think he is just a crazy old man ?

  I feel that he is an old man who escaped into his research to cope with the destruction of his entire life. He is mildly obsessed over the return of the dragons, in a good way.

  He is also one of my favorite characters in Skyrim, if not the favorite

  I think Esbern may have been RP'ing as Daffy Duck at one point or another. Whenever he starts talking, it sounds as if his mouth is over filling with saliva. IMO he need to see a psychiatrist.

  I like esbern when I first met him..... up until the point he demanded the death of parthunaxx then I wanted to promptly kill him. Sadly I can't. So yeah I now highly dislike the blades and esbern...

  I found it sad, actually. I liked the blades at first - fond memories from Oblivion. In a way, I still like them, Esbern especially. It wasn't so much anger that I felt toward their insistence on Paarthurnax's death. I left the blades behind because I disagreed with them. It was nothing personal.
