The first video game I owned was on a system that had variants of Pong. It had a total of 4 game modes (soccer style, hand ball style, tennis style, practice). It had one, two, and four player options!

Nostalgia fills me up when I look through this thread. A lot of shitty games and a lot of good ones. Makes me wish I was a kid again to relive all these classic video games.

Pokemon Red for handheld. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for console. Still my favorite game.

The very first "video" game I played was called Zork on my Commodore 64, circa 1980.  It was a text/pictures story game.  It was the original RPG and I loved it.

I remember that my best friend and I thought that it was so cool to use telnet over the phone modem to talk to each other.  We pretended that we were spies sending secret conversations to each other.

Zork to Final Fantasy to Skyrim...the landscape of video games has progressed so much it blows my mind.

Atari was our first game system too...Space Invaders, Pac Man, Breakout...and the game to beat all games...

Fighting dragons before Skyrim was a gleam in any developer's eye!

Mine was actually almost twice as old as I am today!

I remember playing with this all the time, it was one of the most annoying games ever made because the "ball" dot blipped, so when it got to home it was gone but you still had to swing.

I went from this to a Super Nintendo, even though we had Coleco Vision and an Atari in the storage.
