Hello everyone!
This glitch/exploit may have been posted before in the Tips and Tricks Group because most of the people know of it. I haven't seen it posted as a discussion in this group, but if I'm wrong, please tell me and I will ask a host to remove this. Ok, with that out of the way, in this discussion I want to show people how to boost Blizzard's damage from a mere 20 points per second to at least 246! Yes, you read it correct, 246 damage!
How to do it:
Explanation: First of all, Blizzard has its damage increased by Augmented Frost and the Apprentice Stone. Second, this spell's damage depends on the caster's Magic and Frost Resistances. How? Blizzard's damage increases if these two resistances are lowered. So, if a character were to be weakened by 50% to both Magic and Frost Damage, a cast Blizzard spell would be 50% + 50% = 100% more powerful. Third, all active effects, both positive and negative, on a character are amplified when drinking a Fortify Restoration potion. With these three premises in mind, let me show you what really happens when stack-drinking the three potions I mentioned above. The first potion increases Blizzard's damage. The second potion amplifies the effect of the first potion because of the Fortify Restoration effect and it further increases Blizzard's damage because of the Weakness to Magic effect. The third potion further amplifies the effects of the first and second potion because of the Fortify Restoration Effect and it also increases Blizzard's damage even more because of the Weakness to Frost effect. The result is that casting Blizzard with these three potions stacked results in a metric ton of damage. Blizzard becomes the ultimate spell. Stacking the potions in any other order will result in a lower damage output. Also stacking the same two Fortify Restoration potions only counts as one potion when casting Blizzard, it seems.
How not to die: Blizzard is an Area of Effect spell that has a chance to also cause self-friendly fire. Imagine casting this incredibly powerful version only to die a second later. I mean, it's 246 damage! A solution to this problem is the following: Using Become Ethereal immediately AFTER casting Blizzard will make the caster immune to its damage while the hostile NPCs still suffer from the carnage. The explanation appears to be simple. Blizzard's damage over time is calculated at the moment of casting it and any action done after this that would normally decrease the damage has no effect!

Well some players may not know; you can also use the apprentice stone to increase the carnage, enemies die almost instantly even on legendary, however high magic absorption is require or cast BE quickly
