Removing Stolen Tags

    You probably noticed some items marked as stolen everywhere (duh!) and the only in-game method to remove said tag is to sell to a fence and buy back;
    There is a glitch that when a follower picks stuff from chests they get marked as stolen, right? Then you lost a buch of items just to save space...

    Not anymore!
    Try these steps and "un-tag" those items!!!

    1) find desired stolen item
    2) find a chest that is not marked as steal or legal(no red name)
    3) put item inside the chest and exit the chest
    4) search chest(the item is still marked stolen) and press "take all"
    5) Voila! You just got yourself a new legal item!!!
    Also if you find items marked as steal-able (red names inside untagged chests) you can hit "take all button and take everything, the items would be unmarked of their stolen tag!

    Plus I just tested it with items already in chests, and items I put myself and got me some armor and weapons, good way to rob shops and sell right back to them! lol

    I also found that if you drop a stolen item near somebody who likes you, and they give it back to you, it removes the tag.
