Loot Farming

  Hey guys, I wanted to use this topic to list good places to farm loot. You may or may not know, but you can change the loot that you get inside dungeons. To do this you simply load a save from outside the area, then get back to the chest and it will contain different loot. This can be really good for finding specific high level weapons and items without paying for them, even if it does sometimes take a while.

  For this topic, I want to create a list of dungeons and caves where loot chests that look the picture above can be quickly reached, and therefore prime targets for this exploit. I'll list a few that I know of below and edit in any other locations added by comments.

  Guldun Rock- A giant camp with a small cave. East of Dragonsreach

  Sleeping tree camp- A giant camp with a small cave containing one giant. South west of Whiterun

  Redoran's Retreat- A small bandit cave. West of Dragonsreach

  Dawnstar - A secret invisible chest. Near the mine, on a rock behind some small pine trees. NOTE: It is flat and you may walk over; look to the ground.

  That is something different Hamek. The chests that are underground are merchants stock. The one you are referring to is for the khajiit caravan. The chests I'm talking about also need to be inside a dungeon so that you can run in and if you don't like what you find, you can just reload and try again.
