Greetings fellow bloggers, I have a request to ask of anyone who is willing in this lore group. I require any information you have on Namira, no matter how small it is nor which era it is from, it will most likely be useful. Thank you.

ShoddyCast will soon come with a video about Namira I think. Right after Nacturnal. Their videos are really fleshed out and informative. Have a look on their channel!

In the Khajiit creation myth Namira is the darkness which fills Lorkhaj's heart:

And Fadomai gave birth to Lorkhaj, the last of her litter, in the Great Darkness. And the Heart of Lorkhaj was filled with the Great Darkness. And when he was born, the Great Darkness knew its name and it was Namiira.

Namira granted three powers to the beggar Wheedle: Disregard, pity and the dubious ability to take on any disease with visible symptoms.

Her realm of Oblivion is called The Scuttling Void but is only ever called that in an out-of-game book. It is worth noting however, that this same source also mentions another book which appears in-game long after the first was written.

In Oblivion the CoC was deemed to good looking to be allowed to speak to the Prince and had to lower their Personality trait in order to win her favour.

So she doesn't like charismatic people?

She doesn't seem to. Her priestess during the Oblivion Crisis, Hjolfrodi the Harrier, responds to your desire to speak to Namira with the following if your Personality (Charisma) is too high:

"You do? You are too pretty to worship in this place. People like you. Like to hear you talk. When you are more loathesome, you may return."

Once you've made yourself less appealing she'll say:

You are repulsive, displeasing to the eye. Namira might find favor in you. Approach."
