Hey guys and gals!
So, I have FINALLY been playing Skyrim. I've racked up about 5 hours or so, and here are my thoughts:
1) Abso-friggin-lutely beautiful. It really is.
2) Unexpected occurrences are to be expected. My character has just been blown away from my original idea. I tried, believe me, but I just did what I enjoyed most.
3) Dragons. EXTREMELY well-done and a joy to see in action.
4)Levelling up. It's awesome how all the different skills contribute. So far I have levelled up for a variety of things, including talking my way into Whiterun, poisoning myself, accidentally killing a zombie I raised and getting hit in the face repeatedly with an Orcish Warhammer. Not bad, eh?
5) Bosses. They're hard. Sometimes.
Continuing on that last point, some of the dungeons' final bosses are a piece of cake, while others are damn near impossible. For example, at level 5 I went into Bleak Falls Barrow. The final boss (a Draugr Overlord) was a piece of cake. Later on at level 7, I discover a fort filled with bandits. Thinking this will also be simple, I blow through the minor bandits and then I find the chieftain. He was impossible. Armed with an Orcish Warhammer of Gleaning (stole 20 stamina points with each hit), I found he was an absolute beast to deal with. I died about eight times. Compared to this, even a dragon was simple!
So, what has been the toughest dungeon boss so far in your opinion? Tell us a short tale of woe, misery, and numerous revert-to-last-saves
