  Hello all, Emer here! 

  As many of you know, there has been a rather large contest going on within the Character Building group. The contest is now officially over, and Character Building host Ponty has asked me to share the result with all of you!

  Without further ado, here they are!

  "Well, it's the 23rd of July and time to announce the winners of the very first Character Building Contest, based around the theme of The Mythic Dawn, a cult of Mehrunes Dagon that featured prominently in Oblivion's Main Quest. There were 9 submissions overall, many of which were of an outstanding level of quality.  The Panel judged these builds based on their gameplay concept, presentation, roleplay, lore links, and use of artwork. So, here's the moment you've been waiting for - the results!

  Gold: Matt Walker and Chris Aaron's Keeper of the Dawn!

  The Keeper of the Dawn was a superb build, combining a good gameplay concept, great presentation and excellent roleplay - excelling in all the areas we judged. Matt and Chris will receive:

  1. A build video done by me for either the submitted build or another build of their choice
  2. Screenshots done by me for either the submitted build or another build of their choice
  3. Input into the theme of the next contest
  4. Exclusive access to the judging panel of the next contest (only if not participating in said contest)
  5. The exclusive "Contest Gold" tag for the submitted build!

  Silver: Tim Faroe's Daedra Seducer!

  The Daedra Seducer's unique character concept and gameplay elements on top of a solid backstory, roleplay and presentation brought this build into second place. While the Panel did point out a few flaws, it's a great build nonetheless! Tim will receive:

  1. Screenshots done by me for either the submitted build or another build of the his choice
  2. Input into the theme of the next contest
  3. "Contest Silver" tag for the submitted build!

  Bronze: Jo'Daro, Henson and Kyrielle's Acolyte!

  The Acolyte's excellent presentation combined with solid gameplay, lore and roleplay elements brought the all-star team of Jo, Henson and Kyrielle's build into third place. They will receive:

  1. Input into the theme of the next contest
  2. "Contest Bronze" tag for the submitted build!

  I'd also like to include an honorable mention to asgard's Nogo, the Bow-Saint. The excellent presentation and writing of his build was a real stand out - unfortunately it had a very tenuous link to the theme...

  Big thank you to everyone who participated in the contest, and you can look forward to another contest and some more improvements for CB in the future!"
