Skyrim For Sale In Some Countries.

    It turns out that releasing a game on a Friday is a bit confusing for some retailers!   Traditionally media is released on a Tuesday (here in the States, at least).  I'm not precisely sure why Tuesday - if anyone knows please enlighten us!  There are also reports of Skyrim showing up on eBay, for those of you that did not pre-order or otherwise find it difficult to locate a copy.

    It does seem kind of weird that the game has been sent in the same shipping boxes as other games, but must sit in the back room of the store until Friday rolls around.

    So, are you going to venture out today in hopes of finding a retailer that 'forgot' this game isn't officially released until Friday?

    Wal-mart in north Raleigh has it on shelves, I pre-ordered so I gotta wait til the 11th, but its out in the states too.

    Know what I haven't heard yet?  "I'm going to wait until Skyrim is $20 in the bargain bin." 
    Haha, it's not a bad practice in general, but they would be showing far more self-control than I.

    I remember picking up a copy of Morrowind a few days in advance at Wal-Mart way back then! Although I wouldn't mind if Futureshop called me to tell me I could come and pick up my copy right now, I guess I'll have to wait. Getting the game with 20$ off bec...  more

    I hope any stores that do this lose all marketing rights with Bethesda.  Perhaps Bethesda will sue them for breach.

    Altough I could go to Holland ( cuz that's what the receit on the picture says) in about 15 minutes if I hop on the bus, I'm not going to, I will wait at least till the official release day and pick it up as soon as I have some spare time coming weeks.
