Day Two- Choices, choices, choices...

  • Well after my vigorous escape from my beheading I finally decided to follow the Imperials to safety.

I mainly chose the guards becuase throughout my travels through High Rock, Hammerfell, and Cyrodiil I have learned that Nords don't side well with Orcs...and magic. Also I chose the guards because they seek to bring peace throughout the Empire, and that is what I seek. The only thing I can't get off my mind during my escape is that the Empire sided with the Thalmor. Even for a well-educated Orc like myself I can only call them...monsters. What would happen if all of a sudden Argonians decided to outlaw the worship of the High Elves Aedra! I find this distrubing.

Anyways I have finally escaped the attack on Helgen (After the escape I was invited to join the Empire in the Civil War.) and I have started my journey. Begining with the choice of a starting Standing Stone. For now I have chosen the Mage Stone, but should I chose another?

After choosing my "stone" I have started to journey to the quite little town of Riverwood. It is a nice village with a blacksmith, a trader, and an Inn. I have sold most of my unwanted good at the trader, and after striking conversation with Lucas (the trader) I have learned of the location of the one location I can count one, the College of Winterhold!

Now that my journey has started what should I do? Go join a side for the Civil War. Should I join the College of Winterhold and continue with my studies, or should I wonder off to do whatever Malacath has planned for me?

Take the mages stone for now, go to the college and get some new spells and items but don't really start the questline, it wouldn't be very interesting at the moment anyway, and go to war because to your character real combat experience is the only good w...  more
