It's time for another iteration of the Character Build Showcase, where we turn the spotlight on some of the best examples from the Character Build Group.
This week, Mason has chosen The Marauder by Sanctus. Here's what he has to say:
Sometimes you just open a build and it draws you in and gets you excited! The Marauder by Sanctus is a nicely balanced pirate build that has been beautifully presented. One of this builds strongest features is the emphasis on gameplay, the character has been set up to minimise hotkeys to ensure less time rifling through the inventory.
The Marauders skills are standard but versatile, great for the Thieves Guild or possibly the Dark Brotherhood. This character would be a solid RP build for those looking for something a little different in their next playthrough, be sure to give it a read!
I've had a look at the build myself and it seems like a well constructed build - and lets be honest, who doesn't like pirates
Here's the backstory that goes with the build
"My crew and I had sailed the seas for twenty-odd strong years. We had heard of dragons appearing in Skyrim and decided we could make some good money there. We headed towards Dawnstar when during a brutal tide, we crashed. My ship, the Brinehammer, was destroyed and I was the only one who made it out of the wreck alive. While trying to cross the borders back into Cyrodil in search of a new ship and crew to reclaim the seas and renew my infamy with, I was captured by an Imperial ambush. After the events at Helgen, I joined the Stormcloaks in order to claim vengeance against the Imperials and meet a group of hardy Nords to make a new crew with."
