Can't finish 2 tasks

    I am having issues trying to return Pantea's Flute. I have it my inventory, but she won't take it from me. I also cannot finish the White Phial- the guy won't take the briar heart. What do I do to complete these?

    So many problems. I probably have seven "Collect bounty from Skald" in my misc. quest log. that wont go away.
    My weapon racks don't work.
    I also cannot give him the briar heart or remove it from my inventory.
    But worst of all The thieves...  more

    Yes, I have plenty of them in my inventory, too. The instruments (all 3), a book for the orc in the Mages College, and another one "The Mirror" as far as I can remember. My diary is full of those "unfinished" quests... I'm getting used to them, however I ...  more

    About the flute: Same issue for all the three instrument quests. You can delete them using console commands. Use google the find the commands.

    I had/have the same problem with the instruments, somewhat. I got them all and returned them, got credit, but then, they were still in my inventory! Sucks, cause that's a total of about 15-20lbs I'm always luggin around (can't get rid of 'quest' items). S...  more
