Solyeuse said:The one person that never played Warcraft. I always thought that an urban legend. Anyway, I did pop an LOL to avoid hurting feelings since it was an attempt at humor (only 80 billion people played Warcraft #sarcasm), guess that didn't help here. Sorry about that.I'm quite sure I have no idea what you are speaking of. Still, I'm glad my antics can amuse you.

I've never played WoW and do not know what the WoW Death Knight is like. But I can guess that it's going to look something like a Blackguard (sort of the evil twin of a Paladin). And no one owns the rights to a concept as big as a Blackguard. Even for two builds drawing inspiration from a similar source, you'll probably see differences - as you've noted that your build is rather different from theirs.
At this stage in Skyrim's life, you won't see that many new ideas. Putting a fresh spin on something is always welcome.
It should be fine to upload only a single builld with three paths. To differentiate your builds, consider selecting a different name. Deathguard, Black Knight, Dark Knight, Darkguard, Darkblade, Oathbreaker, I don't know, find something that fits. You're hardly short of options.
The Death Knight in WoW is lets say a heavy armored necromancer that also has some blood magic for tanking and frost magic. He eithers uses two-handed weapons mainly battleaxes and greatswords and/or dual-wield axes and swords.
Moreover he enchants runes in his blades. He is a powerhouse.

Kolanti said:Hey all I need some help.
Ok I am currently writing my Death Knight build that is 100% inspired by WoW.
I am going to provide three different ways to play the death knight Unholy, Blood and Frost. Whoever is familiar with WoW will know what are these specs.
I need some help though:
1) There is another character build called Death Knight and although the author is inspired by the death knights of wow is quite different from what I want to show. How should I name my build when it's time to upload? e.g Character Build: WoW Death Knight? or shall I upload three different build for each spec e.g UnholY DK, Frost DK and Blood DK.
each build have different mechanics and lore behind it.
thanks in advance
Not sure if this would work, but using the console command player.setscale 1.20 should make you taller and larger than other people/enemies and that'll look pretty good.
Mace of Molag Bal will look off the charts, BTW. Also, Equilibrium is a pretty cool 'Blood Magic' themed spell, and also I'd recommend Ebony Mail with other armor all Daedric.

If you do this, Kolantri, I'd also recommend reducing walk speed and jump to be more inline with a normal character -a massive bad guy zipping about in enormous armour might be a bit immersion breaking.

Ave,
Somewhat new to this section so a few questions:
1. Is the Workbench sort of a writer's group/beta reader corner where we can review/critique/provide feedback for each other's works?
2. I am writing a story in the well Story Corner and wish to post a WIP here. So is the 'WiP Story: [project name here]' tag the correct tag?
In advance, thanks!
