Have you tried it with spells like Flame Cloak yet? That's where it becomes super powerful! Flames is also a strong choice, as dual cast it will deal over 40 damage per second!

I've seen that but I've yet to actually get around to perking dual cast! Its insane though, from 12 to.. I think 22 is what it says? Per second, just for flames. I'm interested to see incinerate, how high that damage is, hah. On the note of dual casting I have a question. It (seems... I'm console player, so I can't measure everything exactly) to use more than double the magical... So what is the scale for magic, and damage?
And a question about green thumb. I just bought Mt house and have yet to even build a garden, so I must ask. How does it effect those plants? I've noticed it didn't effect something else (I don't remember what) that had been giving two ingredients naturally.

Hey Ylva, in regards to your magic question, the effect is doubled but the cost is multiplied by 2.2 or roughly twice and a fifth of a single cast. Also, if you take Aspect of Terror before augmented flames, augmented flames will affect the base +10 fire dmg, meaning your flames spell can reach a decent 27 dmg per second along with your fire cloak. And incinerate gets to 105 dmg but such dmg is really weak in comparison to dual taper jetted flames for 54 instant and 62 taper dmg for a tenth of the cost. While incinerate is nice, it just seems kinda lackluster with its mana greed and no AoE to supplement it like Fireball.

Thank you Elijah!

Dual Casting multiplies the magnitude by 2.2 and the cost by 2.8. However, sometimes the magnitude doesn't actually mean damage, as for cloaks, it only increases their range, and not their damage.
Green Thumb seems to bug the greenhouse a bit, so I'd advise against taking it. It's more useful for gathering plants in the wild (if you're roleplaying that way) without using the greenhouse.
