    Borommakot Probably depends on the quality and material, but yeah, they'd eventually wear through. It'd probably be something strictly for certain situations, like getting into a house, or moving quietly through a crypt. It's better than nothing if you lack the coin...  more

    Borommakot I wouldn't think that you'd need string shoes for sneaking. For traveling, sure, but with sneaking, the more closely you can feel what's under your feet, the better you can calculate your movements.
