On the spur of the moment I decided to download and install frostfall to finally attempt a playthrough with it, and the character I have created to do that with is a crotchety old Nord with a big hammer.

So I haven't exactly seen much of it. I did get a little wet because it was raining and a little cold because it is Skyrim, but I haven't had more then that yet.

It's a funny thing, both Frostfall and INeed can be very immersing but at times very frustrating. I remember being at Dagon's shrine and almost freezing to death before the dialogue had ended because I forgot to build a damnned fire first, and as I hadn't eaten for a while, belly was rumbling throughout the conversation.

I tried INeed years ago and I just can't, it just made the game sort of tedious. I'll stop at an inn and have a meal to gain the warmth bonus from being near the fire (and I think there's one for eating) but that's as far as I'm willing to go.

Totally get that. When you're on a roll INeed will snap you out if it sharpish. Great for the right character and a slower pace, but it can become an immersion-breaker.
