Now, there's quite a bit of real quality mods out there on the Nexus and such, but like many mediums it can also become quite tedious wading through the morass of quantity junk and fetish. Secondly, no matter how well I fortify my modded game with unofficial patches, memory and fps boosts, the game's stability is still unpredictable. That's not the modding community's fault, it's nobody's fault. It's simply Bethesda's game engine which can be considered now out of date with limitations that we've already crossed since 2011. But, this in no way takes away the greatness of the game. I suppose I'm getting nearer to the point now where I may soon purge myself of most mods and return to the simpler vanilla world of Skyrim. less

Wow. I had played Skyrim before with no mods and I didn't know what I was missing! Steam opened up a whole new and exciting world in the past few days.
What a treat!
