Shrouded gauntlets aren't really necessary, you get a 1h damage boost from the Nightingale gloves, and you do more than enough damage with a dagger sneak attack already.
I decree you're completely forbidden from using any and all Daedric artifacts on this character. But seriously? What do you think?
I used an unenchanted bow because I was playing on a lower difficulty back then (I retired this character well before the start of this year), I had no points in enchanting, and hadn't found a decent enchanted Ebony bow yet anyway. I wasn't a fan of the Nightingale bow due to it's high cost/shot.
You're absolutely not allowed to use a crossbow.
Just kidding, you can if you like. My vision for this character was really with a bow, while a crossbow would certainly work with it's inherent stagger chance and all that I'd probably recommend a bow, the loud firing sound of the crossbow seems a tad ridiculous on a mostly stealth-oriented build.
