Absorb stamina is very strong on any weapon for a chain of power attacks which takes down enemies at expert easily, even if you are at 10 stamina and is the remaining for a power attack the attack you just made restored your stamina back up to what ever number you put in for example 25. The power attack you just made restores you to a stamina of 25 making absorb stamina very powerful in a chain as long as you land them.
I would not say there is a maximum but by endgame it is good to have at least 300 stamina, with all the stamina enchants you will still be able chain attacks with over 75% stamina regen. If at some point in the build you have felt there is not enough stamina , go ahead and change the enchantments around allowing for some more leeway over the levels making it easier.
I am actually very much like you and stick to one combat skill. The good thing about warhammers is they have a long reach and are very easy to hit with. Plus the Stalhrim warhammer looks amazing.
I did take alchemy out after Ben and Orthus explained to me. I agreed with Ben when he said people dont want to spend too much time "bent over a table"(no pun intended) and it takes the fun out. And btw that chaos combo sounds amazing.
