A heavy role-playing, dynamic build which uses a wide range of skills in order to experiment playing with unusual weapon combinations and focuses on wearing down the enemy over the course of a battle using bleed effects and absorb health enchantments in synergy.
Escaped convicts, outcasts, murderers and worshipers of Namira make up the cannibal clans. These clans make their home in provinces during war time to feast on the large amount of dead resulting from conflict. With the land in turmoil the tribes generally go unchecked. Your tribe journeys to Skyrim after the civil war breaks out in search of rich pickings.
- Race: Bosmer/Orsimer/Redguard
- Stats: 0/1/2
- Appearance: Lots of warpaint, scars, facial hair and maybe a blind eye.
- Stone: The warrior, then The Lady.
- Shouts: Aura Whisper, Drain Vitality, Disarm, Dismay
- One-Handed (War Axes for bleed perks).
- Two-Handed (Battleaxes for bleed perks).
- Archery (Used for hunting animals for their meat and as a means of ranged combat).
- Enchanting (To maximize the strength of the Absorb Health/Absorb Stamina enchantments on the weapon and to apply damage boosting enchantments to the armor. For information regarding which enchantments work on which gear types click here).
- Heavy Armor (Increased defenses, unarmed attacks and Conditioning perk for faster movement speed).
- Light Armor (Just for Unhindered perk for faster movement speed).
*Perks at Level 50
Ring of Namira (This will allow you to feed on the flesh of the dead)
Falmer Helmet
Bone Hawk Amulet/Kyne's Token/Necromancer's Amulet
Fur Armor/Savior's Hide/Stormcloak Officer Armor/Forsworn Armor
Heavy Armor Gauntlets (For Unarmed combat)
Stormcloak Officer Boots
Crossbow/Forsworn Bow/Hunting Bow/Falmer Bow
Targe of the Blooded (For use in conjunction with war axe to stack bleed damage on target)
(Absorb health/stamina enchantments on weapons, fortify health/stamina regeneration or fortify One-Handed/Unarmed/Two-Handed on armor).
The cannibal is skilled with a variety of weapons, therefore can mix and match them to keep combat interesting. As a few examples, they could use an axe and shield to apply heavy bleed damage whilst staggering the opponent, a large battleaxe to deal higher damage, a dagger and axe for fast dual wielding attacks, unarmed for a change of pace or stand behind their allies with a crossbow picking off victims from a safe distance. The cannibal should always have an absorb health enchantment on their weapon and when the Extra Effect perk is unlocked absorb stamina on top of that. With the Lady Stone, Namira's Ring, Fortify Stamina and Health regeneration enchantments on other gear pieces and Absorb enchantments on the weapon, the cannibal has high sustainability in battle.
Hemorrhage: Bleed + Absorb Health (Every hit landed causes the victim to bleed out, weakening them as the fight progresses. The Cannibal absorbs this life force and becomes stronger).
Playing with your food: Disarm + Stagger (Uses bash to stagger enemy in order to pick up their weapon, leaving them vulnerable for the cannibal to toy with).
As a member of a tribe a cannibal hunts in a group. This takes the heat off in battle and allows you to fall back and recover by consuming flesh of the recently deceased or attacking someone to absorb life without taking damage in return. To start a tribe you will need to complete the Dark Brotherhood questline and perform the follow glitch using a main follower, Cicero and the DB initiates. They are extremely useful as you wont have to worry about keeping them alive and they will equip tribal themed outfits and weapons. For a main follower I suggest Eola, as she is also a cannibal and normally stays back in combat out of the way. With all four followers you will be able to start pillaging settlements on the hunt for fresh meat.
- Use only meat to restore health, no potions or spells.
- Only Orcish/Falmer/Forsworn weapons (made of stone or bone).
- Regularly consume humanoid flesh.
- Only loyal to their own tribe and factions or those who share their beliefs.
- Have a bounty in all the main holds.
- Never pay the fine or go to jail (would die before being imprisoned).
- No poisons (wouldn't poison their food).
- Live in the wild (Sleeping wherever you find a bed such as camps).
- Murder and eat any travelers/explorers/pilgrims you meet on the road.
- Collect body parts as trophies, such as Giant's Toes, Daedra/Human hearts, Skulls etc.
Animal meat is the cannibal's substitute for potions or healing spells. Once enchantments and followers are acquired, you will not need to rely on meat as heavily in combat, if at all. Early on it is a good idea to collect large amounts of flesh ready for use in battle. There are many ways to amass a feast, such as hunting the wilds for animals, stealing meat from butchers such as Anoriath in Whiterun and murdering any hunters you come across as they carry a lot of game.
While the cannibals happily eat meat raw, they may cook it to increase its restorative values and flavor. Cooked beef, Horker loaf, Horse haunch, leg of Goat roast and Mammoth steak all restore 10 health points each. For more information click here.
While the cannibal generally hunts and rests on the move throughout Skyrim's forests and plains, it is useful to have a safe haven where they can take refuge and store valuable items as well as food. A perfect location for this is Anise's Cabin. It is a run down shack situated in Falkreath hold in the woods with a trap door leading to a cellar. Animals and hunters are common in the area.
The cupboard and dresser inside are safe storage as well as all containers in the cellar below the cabin. After killing Anise the bed becomes unowned, meaning you can sleep in it. The cellar also contains an arcane enchanter (useful for the Cannibals enchanting) and the cabin is a fast travel destination. The cellar beneath the cabin is an excellent place to decorate with skulls and human flesh, as it will not reset.
- The Taste of Death
- The Dark Brotherhood
- The Black Star (For the item 'The Black Star' for enchanting).
- Lead your tribe on raids starting with villages, farms and other bandit clans then as you progress to higher levels attack war camps and cities.
- Hunt down Giant camps with your tribe to slay mammoths for their highly prized meat.

Wow, this is actually pretty cool and not as dark as I was expecting it to be. You did a great job. My only concern is the Heavy and Light Armor thing. I'm okay with mixing them, but perking both can be difficult because they tend to level fairly slow. If you are only perking them to get Conditioning and Unhindered, then I would suggest just sticking to the one you used the most. But other than that this looks pretty damn good.

I really like this build, solid presentation (I really like the heading font and pics) and a great concept. As with Oneness, I dislike the perking of Heavy and Light Armour. Also why is Necromancer's Amulet an option since this build doesn't use Conjuration and relies on regeneration?

Thank you goober for the compliments! Like Ebony said Necromancer's Amulet was purely for it's looks, I felt it fit the theme of a savage so I included it as an option.

Thank you very much :) And alright I'll try and make that more noticeable. I did actually plan on listing Breton at first for the same reason but I decided against it as I wanted to steer clear of magic orientated races. I used Redguard instead for it's natural resistances which I felt fitting for someone living in the wild and also it's bonus in one-handed. Do you think I should list Breton anyway?

Aw thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it. Yeah about the Heavy/Light armor a lot of people seem to dislike that I'll have to see how I can change it. The idea was the cannibals would be looting any gear they could find and just wearing odd bits of armor pieced together. However I wanted them to be fast on their feet, I suppose the Steed Stone may work although it would mean less regeneration from the Lady stone.

Not a bad idea, I did originally include Block for the use of the shield but the shield is really just for the stackable bleed damage and the perks won't increase that. I wanted the cannibal to be a very offensive playstyle (the best offense is a good defense type of thing) and felt using Block would take away from that. I wonder what other people think? And don't worry I'm all open to suggestions I'm glad you're interested enough in the build enough to contribute ideas :D
