By nature Enchanting is super easy to level once you've gotten the basic requirements (Soul Gems, a Soul Trapping item and a follower to beat shit up with) and I managed a few dungeon runs and now I'm halfway through the build. Luckily it'll be slowing down since I'll be traveling a bit now, heading up to either Winterhold or Labyrinthian for the staffs there. Probably the latter so it'll help me get into the College (hopefully).
Yeah, still Staff-less but I've changed my character so it isn't too crucial. Now my end-game is going to consist of creating gear that lets me fight as any class (somewhat effectively). I SHALL BE THE ULTIMATE FAKER. It's actually based off an idea I was running way back in 2014, but that had other skills (HA, Block and Resto)
Fun stuff, might play through a second time with a change up of how I level Health and Stamina...but probably not, I've kind of nailed it to be honest :)
If memory serves there is a staff of fireballs near the cave entrance to the embassy in Haafingar. There is also a staff of revenant in the dragon burial mound near Morthal.
Glad it's going well.

Ooh, yeah probably not getting to either of those places easily. That's just not in my direction, and again too poor to afford caravan (spending it all on Soul Gems and Enchantments that I need) Had to dish out a fair amount for a Soul Trap enchantment because I couldn't really fight my way through to the Fiery Soul-Trap, and I can't think of any other guaranteed find.
Still, it's all fun, hit Level 8 last night, not going to play much today (thinking of going to the movies for most of the morning)

So, for me, it really just depends on which build it is. If it's something that I've got a loose idea on, or that I'm basing it heavily off of mods, then I tend to write up the build a little earlier so I can get most of my thoughts down. Take most of my Ordinator builds, there I prefer to write down the basic gameplay, my mods and my perks so that I can explain some of the ideas behind the build and sort of focus my perks so I know what I'm doing.
Then...I guess if it's Vanilla, I tend to just play the build and write it up. I mean, I know Vanilla well enough by now that I rarely (if ever) need to get my thoughts in order.

Oh shit now that I've got to see. I mean, I mean, god damn I would love to play around with Kiritsugu (though as a side note, are you cool if I end up doing builds based on characters you've already worked on? No reason we can't have two of some characters after all). Might actually convince me to run something like the Flintlock Pistol mods so I can really mimic his Origin Rounds gun.
So, for that you'd need... man I can't figure out how to replicate the Origin Rounds outside of a really high Damage Magicka (which I think you can get two enchantments for) + Reduce Magicka Regeneration...that'd work. Man yeah Kiritsugu is just so insanely badass, so a build based off him would be awesome.
The Chronopuncher sounds pretty good so I'll be looking forward to it :D

Good point. Oh God I remember the days of using the Flintlock Pistol. It also really is the best fit for his Thompson Contender. Also, that's fine with me. I mean, we've got at least two Alessia builds for instance. Go for it Deebs
I've never personally used any of the mods like that, but Kiritsugu would be a good enough reason to give it a whirl XD Really my main ones that I might do eventually are the various Sabers and Gilgamesh...though Gil...man he's hard to do, especially how I write builds. Nah if I do get around to another Fate build anytime soon (still need to do that Weiss build sometime soon afterall) it's going to be Lancer (Stay/Night) followed by Mordred, then Mysterious Heroine X (Grand Order) and then Nero...man I need to do Nero sometime soon, she's the absolute best XD
