Happily ever after........

So there's alot of complaints about Mass Effects ending to it's 5 year saga. Personally, I didn't mind it. Wasn't ready to smash the game and start writting a petition to BioWare on getting my money back and how bad they ruined it.
What are some games/franchises that had the utimate ending and well satisfying? Ones that you couldn't go to sleep at night just thinking what had happen. I don't think I ever heard someone say "wow, that was incredible!!!! Unbelievable!! I'm lost for words" on endings of games. You sure do hear about gettin ripped off if it's not up par with some folks that's for sure.
Off the top of my head, I don't have a library of games that I've finished. Usually they're all 'open ending' and lead to future games.
