A very British invasion as Zon helps me iron out goals for my curent char based on a character from a book. Regional colliqialisms is the issue, maybe, as brits have a speech pattern and sense of humour that sometimes doesn't make sense, apologies: "reyt good" = right good/very good. "Gert" = great and is Bristolian dialect ;)

Okay? I never said I didn't understand Britts, I just saw cat videos and read some bizarre stuff that made absolutely no sense what so ever. That is why I said what I said.

Ah, gotcha. How bizarre! Ooh, baby, ooh, baby! It's making me crazy, it's making me crazy. Every time I look around, every time I look around, every time I look around, it's in my face!

I cannot explain the cat stuff, sometimes weird stuff happens. Apparently I am a baby wolf in Wulf's blog. Which is a new thing for me :D

My favorite character's purpose might be a bit cliche but he wants to "find a purpose". He's an ex-blade who secretly served with the Emperor for longer than he should. In my headcanon he was never actually captured and tried as a Stormcloak at Helgen but instead secretly led the plan to capture Ulfric. That was his last mission for the Emperor as to not endanger him. Fortunately for him, his next 'mission' came quickly but this time on black wings, and thus begins Skyrim.

I had a character with a very similar goal. He was a former Blade member, but he was a Stormcloak supporter, and once he found out he was Dragonborn and meant to defeat Alduin, he decided that he should be High King.

Sorry missed all of this I've been at uni open days. I personally love it when west country folk say 'gert lush', gives me the giggles for hours. And describing anything northern as 'manly' is needless, as everything up here at the very least gets stubble and likes hitting stuff (preferably southeners or the Welsh :P )

Am I getting a bit of a samurai vibe from this? Rebel without a cause but with the honour that sets them apart from the common riff raff (and a CURVED SWORD of course). I really like it, Ebon, it takes the insane fighters we all play and makes them believable.

I was intending for him to be a samurai-esque warrior, it seems I've succeeded.

It would be more of a Ronin than a Samurai.

I really don't see him as a ronin. Being ronin means you have been dishonored but will not take your own life via sepukku, which is the only way of reclaiming your lost honor, he still has plenty of honor left. I also still see him as a part of the Legion or at least allied with it, he just doesn't have his old rank (he was basically the Sam Fisher of Tamriel). I always make sure to do the Imperial questline and kill Thalmor whenever possible.
