This makes me think of A Song of Ice and Fire and the governments and politics that reside within those fantasy novels. George R.R Martin has created a very good balance of medieval traditions with modern policies (such as the abolition of slavery). Personally I feel things like democratic and communist clashes are more of a Fallout thing, I prefer the Kings and queens. Either serving an honorable bloodline as a valiant knight or tearing an oppressive tyrant of their false throne or even sitting on said throne myself, mwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

I hardly ever use fast travel. I have intense wanderlust in real life but I'm tied down at the moment so I love to escape in video games, idly trotting across expansive open worlds. My reasoning is that the developers wouldn't have crafted this world just for us to ignore it and focus only on our objectives. We are meant to get distracted.

i don't like anything too eccentric or loud. Ya know, I don't want to be using powers that are really flashy and basically say, 'look at all this cool stuff I can do!!' I think I'd probably like to be something like a Witcher. Enhanced speed, strength and intelligence (not to mention id love me some silver hair, instead of being stuck with muddy brown). Not only that but my Favourite super hero is Batman, I've always admired that he has no powers, nothing supernatural, he's mortal, when he is cut he bleeds, but that dousnt stop him. He'll fight to his last breath and he always finds a way. I suppose Witchers do have powers but they're very subtle so I like them. Being a hero has always been a fantasy of mine, it always will be. Maybe I'll fight crime, or build a mighty empire free of corruption... I mean, if people can do it WITHOUT increased height, strength, intelligence and silver hair, surely I can with all those things, right?

Games have actually influenced my life a lot. As well as improving my reflexes (thanks Halo) and even helping me learn new languages (looking at you Assassins creed) gaming has thrown me deep into the world of storytelling. Be it from books, comics, TV, Movies or the games themselves. They've inspired me, boosted my creativity, educated me. They have definately influenced who I am as a person aswell. Over all I'd say games have taught me: History knowledge, great reflexes, good aiming, strategic planning/co-op or single player tactics, never surrender, save the girl, how differentiate good from evil, morals, philosophy, planning ahead and how to know when you've gone to far with a list! :P Not to mention the hours of entertainment and the awesome communities.
