Yes, it was quite good! I loved it! Ah, and I understand the feeling. I hate that overhanging fatigue. :/
-
The Wing:
Gah, author's blocks suck. D: I have it too at the moment. And I've not been 100% healthy this week... Really tired all the time.
Thanks for reading DWE, by the way! I'm glad you're liking it so far.

Sildriel → The Wing:
Oh, a little tired today. I've finished the next chapter and want to start on the next, but I have an author's block. :/ It's been slow. How about you?
-
The Wing:
Aw thanks! How are you today?
-
Sildriel → The Wing:
Thanks! I can't wait to finish it. XD
Oh, and I love this new page. It's really pretty!
-
The Wing:
8D!! That's awesome!! I'm really excited to read it!

Sildriel → The Wing:
Hey Wing! Sorry that took me so long. I have a few chapters down, and I'm just a page away to finish the 2nd.
-
The Wing:
Hey, Sildriel! How was your week? How goes the writing?
-
Sildriel → The Wing:
Aha, it's no trouble. I could talk about it for hours too. Music is fantastic.
And thanks! I'll try to be on here more often, though it'll take me a while to finish the rough draft of my story, and hopefully invest albeit more with the community.

And yes! That's exactly how I feel. I do still love Protecting Home, due to the fact that it's connected to Gone From Home, but it's a slow-going process. I want to finish it, but at the same time it's exhausting to go on. Funnily enough, it still crosses my mind every week despite its long hiatus. Ah, the life of a writer. less

I think it might come third or fourth favourite of mine; after Yearning for Moonshadow for me comes Stendarr's Mercy, then comes either it or Whispers of the Ancestors. 2:24 to 4:07 of Bruma Against the Jeralls has made me tear up before, and those dramatic drums completely kill me. XD I could literally talk all day about my favourite music but I'll try to spare you too much fangirling.
Don't worry! We don't hold your absence against you. You've had a tough time and I'm pretty sure we all guessed as much. Take your time in catching up, if you want to catch up at all - otherwise, I'm just glad to have your company again. It's been lonely without you and Asheris, and I have to say, both of you coming back on the very same day was such a huge treat!
Ah, that's OK. Makes me sad that don't feel like you want to continue Protecting Home, but I know the feeling too well to beg that you reconsider. You want to stop writing it but at the same time feel kind of trapped by the... less

And, ah, it's alright to have that writer's block. I've not been feeling up to writing Protecting Home too often, mainly because it's so old and I was in too much of an experimental stage with it to create a wholesome story. I'll check out the Woodking soon enough. Maybe tonight!
And, bah! Invest all the emotion you want to. When I finished writing Gone from Home, I was so emotionally invested I cried tears of joy. I sort of wrote it during a difficult stage in my life, and it was stress-relieving to pour into it. Finishing it felt like I was finally free of those difficulties. Kinda sappy, I guess, but that's how most writers are. less

If that emoticon describes your life, I daresay your life is quite optimistic! Perhaps a bit clueless too, but you can't have everything, eh?
Wow, you are really hyping me for this story!! It's To Conquer, right? I'm just overloading with hype now. Teineeva's got a new project, code-named The Ledger Codex; Phil's got a new project and posted this poem in reference to it ('Raan Mir' means 'Animal Man'); Legion has Signal Fire of the Apostle in the works right now and the first chapter nearly sundered my heart; Asheris' planning to write some short stories for his Ember Stories collection; Thorien's working on a story as we speak; and now you have To Conquer! Will my anticipation cause my implosion before I get to read any of these wonderful things? Stay tuned and find out!
My stories are going very slowly. I've had writers' block for so long I may as wel... less

I'll need to update my page's appearance soon too. It feels outdated compared to you all.

I use the emoji any chance I get. It, in every way, could not more aptly describe my life.
I'm glad you have such good friends. c: It's a good username.
Yes, I feel as though I can finally breathe again. It's a relief to enter summer break. And yes, it is an Elder Scrolls fanfiction! I'm really excited to post it because it is at a length and depth I've never invested in. I hadn't expected it to come out so perfectly onto paper with the lapse of time I've been in not writing, but everything seems to be just where I left it. For that, I'm quite happy.
How far have you reached on your own? I really need to read them. less

Ah trust me, I could never love a username more than I loved my previous, which was 'The Rancid' - but some friends of mine insisted that I try out something called 'self-acceptance' (a very scary prospect for me), so I decided to try it out. I reckon most people liked the other names better, but I think I made my friends proud. They're good guys.
I gotta say, that emoticon seriously cracked me up! I'm very glad to hear that you're finally having a much-needed break from school. I hope it's enough time to properly recuperate and rejuvenate! Is your new-old story an Elder Scrolls fanfiction, or something you'll be able to share with us? 8D less

I was in my heaviest year of school, and so I hadn't the time or energy to write a stitch of literature. But now that summer break has come, I think I'm quite ready to start up again. I'm still working on Protecting Home, of course, but I'm now starting up a new (or rather far too old that I'm now re-writing) story. I'm quite a few chapters into it, and I plan for it to be rather long. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
I need to get back into this community and read everyone's stories, especially yours! How has it been going? less

My dear Sildriel, you're back!! It is so good to speak with you again! Thank you for the kind words (and it seems you weren't too jarred by the name change either, which is relieving)! I've been well - how have you been? What have you been doing?

Hey Wing! It's been a really long while. Your page looks brilliant, and I love the art you created for your stories. How are you?

Arrg, I know how that feels. I posted way too many things on the internet before I realised that the story wouldn't work. Even on the Tamriel Vault! I'm just glad nobody here remembers that awkward kid...

Oh ho! I would definitely not be willing! I had no idea what I was doing! The entire thing is a mess of underdeveloped ideas and the yucky nonsensical turmoil of my fifteen-year-old self. Some things are better left private. XP
