It is on my top 10 things to watch. I don't think they can do much to salvage the FO76 disaster.

More Starfield news isn't impossible but is unlikely so...eh, it might be a slow year but id probably prefer that if the other option is pushing a game out faster than it should be.

With this post I would like to ask people to present their more personal / main / go to type of characters in these ES games. If anyone has played previous ES games like Daggerfall they could present their character from that game as well. Also if you wish to throw a photo of your character throw it in.
I 'll make the start:
Morrowind: None. Haven't played Morrowind but it is high in my list of games to play so no character for now.
Oblivion: Race: Altmer - Birthsign: Warrior - Class: Wizard / Monk - Alignment: Chaotic Good - Skills: Hand to Hand, Acrobatics, Alteration, Restoration, Conjuration, Mysticism, Alchemy.

From what I've read and minimally experienced on my time with 76, it's obvious that the game is riddled with bugs and performance issues. Bethesda's general attitude has been one of apology. Not to demean them entirely, as I still think they're one of the greatest dev teams out there with fresh and fun ideas. But they've been handling the reception to 76 in a defeated fashion.
It's just the execution that's so.... bad. To me, and many I've spoken with, Fallout 76 was an awesome concept on paper. But the final product is held back by the ancient engine that Bethesda has been using since the last generation of consoles. It's been used since Skyrim in 2011. A seven-year-old engine is unacceptable when used by a team that has previously stated current technology isn't good enough for their next titles. The fiasco of 76 honest... less

Three years of develoment, and not only do they not know what their product is, but they want us to pay them to figure it out. This whole 1-month Beta has the same stink that Battlefield 3's Beta had when it released one month before the full game. It was a broken beta that stayed broken after release and took at least a year post-release to get fixed. You don't have to listen very long to hear about the litany of bugs plaguing F76, and you don't have to look for very far to realize that F76 is just FO4 with even less of what makes Fallout good. There's too many red flags here for me to keep defending Bethesda. They're starting to look a little too much like EA. Don't pay Bethesda to test a game that they can't even define. less

I'll start off by saying mine. I see my cannon character as my Breton Knight named Dante. He's a Knight that is an expert with dealing with the undead and magickal anomolies, (Think of a Templar from the DA series). He is the thane of Winterhold and is obviously cautious of magic user's and the like, and likes to keep an "eye" on the mages at the college. less

Rogue One of the saddest comparisons I've seen recently is someone trying to say Red Dead 2 is basically a "yeehaw Skyrim".
Justiciar Thorien
I'm afraid that's inevitable. Idk though why those gamers would even buy games like Skyrim, when there are so many much cheaper arcade and action games and also various shooters.

They would play Skyrim for one month max before they get bored with just killing dragons and bandits, while they could instead buy a shooter or an action game that they would play for much longer and have more fun. Because, well, killing dragons is only like 1/10 of the fun of Skyrim, no?

I just made an account on this lovely website after spending 2 or 3 years lurking on here looking at various builds for Skyrim(and more recently for Fallout 4). Not entirely sure what else to say other than the fact I may post a build(or two) on here once I test them out with both no mods and mods as I try to include everyone when it comes to thinking of creative builds.

So, which NPC are you most like? And I’m not talking about stuff like “If I lived in Tamriel, I’d be a cleric,” or “I’d be a mage,” or my favorite - “I’d be dead.” Which, naturally.
What I want to know is, are there any NPCs in TES games that you find uncannily like yourself?
I’ll go first:
I’m basically Saffir, Amren’s wife and Braith’s mom, in Whiterun. She’s a warrior’s wife and mom to a sassy kid, for one. For another, she’s grumpy all the time, and pretty much just wants to go home and read. Honestly, why real life has to get in between me and my books, I have no idea. less

What I think is most likely to come out as canon lore would be a very delicate truce as we see during the main questline with the DB playing the cool guy and the thing going on with smaller in scale battles here and there maybe that still serve the interests of the Thalmor. Also I think the Empire should be at an okay position at the moment at least in regards to army personel and 25 years are enough for humans to replenish their army look at our World Wars history for example. That could also be the reason the Synod is trying to gather artifacts they might be working for the emperor, they defended the Imperial City before. The forces from Colovia as well should be able to put up a pretty good fight along with all the other preparations that should have been made under the tables. less

I could only see the guy working at the bar with Orgnar in Riverwood nothing more than that. You have such a dangerous enemy and rather than talk with the emperor and learn situations and facts or even better send some spies he straight up goes to start a civil war (well his thoughts should be along the lines "spies are for milk drinkers" ). A civil war in such situations is an one way ticket to get eaten by a third party. After Alduin he is the most dangerous person we meet in Skyrim for Skyrim's safety. That is unless Bethesda goes ahead and make hm some sort of cool figure or something like that which I doubt but there is always a possibility. Cut post in two parts. less
Justiciar Thorien
Man, who needs facts and thinking? That stuff is for milk-drinkers))) And the Emperor is dead. That will be canon 100%.

Well, even if we destroy it, we don't kill Babette and Cicero. Which means that it still remains.

I seemed to get burned out on Fallout in August and, what with being busy with other stuff, I didn't play anything else. Then I was on holiday for two weeks. I assumed that I'd get back into gaming once the holiday was over, but I just never have! Time has slipped by and, here we are in the middle of October and - apart from watching a couple of DVDs - I haven't even turned on my XBoxOne for TWO MONTHS!
Now this is unheard of for me - as I have been playing games in one form or another since the early 80s (the days of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, in fact!). But I really find myself not even missing it. I'm done with Skyrim I think, burned out on Fallout. ESO - well, since switching over to XB, it just seems a load of hassle to start over with new characters again. Nothing else is catching my eye - I don't think I'll be buying Fallout 76 at launch, as I expect it to be something of a train wreck at least for a while. I'm somewhat interested in Red ... less

I feel like sharing my experience with Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch. So Skyrim has been out on the Switch for a year almost. I'm pretty new to the device as I got the Switch and Skyrim only a week ago and my experiences so far have been really enjoyable. Prior to purchasing, I haven't played Skyrim at least for a year, so to me it feels like meeting an old friend and seeing them in a new light. Since 2011 I have been playing Skyrim on my crappy laptop. Over the years my laptop has gotten old and slower, the hardware has gotten dusty and it only runs at 25fps for maximum 15 minutes and then it drops to 18fps or even lower. So playing Skyrim on Switch in 720p 30fps is like the greatest thing ever. The Special Edition graphic changes on the Switch version also add to a new experience, it's looking fresher and at first glance you wouldn't notice the age of 6 years.
On PC I have only played the very first playthrough without mods and after that I have added more and more mods, mostly armor or interfac... less

This is really good intel, thanks for writing this up AllSpark! I've actually considered grabbing a Switch literally just so I could play Skyrim on a lunch break or something. I think that probably says more about me and my obsessive, relentless fandom than it does how much I want a Switch though. xD I've only had a little experience playing with the Switch, but my experience was the same as yours when docked to a TV. The controls feel a little fumbly because of their size and I even have normal sized hands. I'm still used to a controller being a two-handed affair, and having a controller smaller than a cellphone in my hand still doesn't feel quite right yet. I have had more practice with the Oculus Rift, but I think just the sheer size of those controllers makes it feel more natural.
If I could grab a Switch on sale for a decent price, or like new used, I probably bite on it and probably only use it in handheld mode. Thanks for the info on this! It is something I've been considering for a whil... less

Went into my local game store yesterday, they had Fallout 76 at 35% off and more than 20 traded-in copies for sale or trade. It was actually really sad to see :(
