So I was playing with mods and pondering stuff and came up with a concept for a Spirit/Shaman-Esque version of Alastor’s High Summoner. Rather than being a Breton, he’s a “young” Altmer who is able to sense and communicate with spirits and the unquiet dea...

I would almost take that to a route of being a Snow Elf fanboy. Have him start off using spells, Alchemy, and a poisoned crossbow while selling his alchemicals or enchants or what have you for make his fortunes, then establish his fancy household and go a...

Mercurias Has anyone played around with the Wintersun mod for Skyrim?

Thinking about documenting it as a build after trimming the fat on the perks down to the essentials. How does a heavy-armored, staff-wielding, Altmeri Cleric of Magnus inspired by Alexander (big robot Boi) from the Final Fantasy series sound?
I really like the start Of this build, but from what I can tell you plan on making Runes a key part of it. If that’s the case, I’d suggest getting the two “Mastery” perks as dual-casting from Illusion and Restoration. Perking up Illusion will lower the co...

I installed a mod that raises the price of Spell tomes by a couple of zeroes each and installed the Spell Research mod. Freaking *satisfying*.

1) An Altmer who follows Hermaeus Mora and eagerly devours all the knowledge and arcane power he can, by any means necessary (Potentially using the Spell Research mod along with Wintersun, Ordinator, and Imperious)
2) An Imperial or Breton artificer based off of Shin and Lohzar’s Knights in Iron, only with Ordinator perks, an expanded list of spells, an expanded list of enchantments to find, and scroll crafting.

I would go with the Altmer hermaus mora devotee, but that is my opinion because I love magic and knowledge.
Hmmm. Probably the most versatile Mage build I can think of is Henson’s Cabalist. It makes use of Enchanting exclusively as a means of crafting and is otherwise a build that makes heavy use of runes and summons for a variety of combat options while hidden...

Mercurias Anyone still modding Skyrim for role play may enjoy Wintersun. I’m running around as a devotee of Jephre right now, but a playthrough as a devotee of Hermaeus Mora or Magnus looks interesting...
Wintersun adds religion and worship. Praying, worship at shrines and adhering to the tenets of your deity strengthens your bond with the deity and eventually grants divine powers. In addition to the d

Right now, my Wildmage is named Teldryn. He wears a skull helmet to obscure his face because he isn't sure how to act around people after all the time spend alone in the wilds.

Teldryn exploded along with my mod lost. Skybirds is terrible and I hate it.
All I know is that I’m going to be at least forty years old before TESVI releases. There’s so much else to do, and after Fallout 76 I have zero faith that Bethesda will top Skyrim.
About Me
I'm the usual Tamriel Vault member of a certain age: I work full-time, look at the site when I can, and swear I'll actually finish a build one of these days once I have one I think is fun to share after a full playthrough.
