Where I live this change started this week, that being said though there are all sorts of bugs/insects coming out with this weather and I hate the damn things to no end.
It has started here too but damn it's going so slow! I hate cold with great passion, every winter is frozen hell for me. Would give anything to be in Miami.

You know, this language theme got me all fired up for invastigating the different languages of Tamriel. I just wish they were used more like the dragon language and its alphabet.
I've only explored Altmeris but it's pretty awesome. Too bad there are so few words though. less
So we can definitely see how the idea of "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" is something they find easier to grasp than altruism, but what i find interesting especially after watching the Khajiit in Ayrenn's Dominion is that it leads to a surp...

Due to my job I meet people from all over the world daily so I learned that the hard way. The key for me at least is to keep a clear mind and not get nervous, all the times I couldn't express myself all that well back then was when I got a bit nervous and blanked out forgeting words which I actually knew. After some time you get used to it it's just a matter of practice and the most important thing for me like I said is clarity while trying to express yourself and not getting nervous. less

This never-shutting-up version of me that you see here exists only online. I don't speak to strangers face to face at my job, I sit in my office all day and only talk to my colleagues, all of whom I know, since we are a small company. And I've never ever spoken English, I've learned only from books and videos all my life. This meetup was scary af and I felt like a homeless old hag who came to a rich wedding I couldn't say a word to anyone. less

I've reached the point where I think both in Portuguese (native language) and English, and it really helps to keep the language alive. Most importantly, it might be a good idea to actually speak out loud when you're alone (maybe read something out loud sometimes, but I think it works best if you just pick a topic and start rambling about it and pay attention to your pronunciation and the "flow" of words on your mind).
Justiciar Thorien50/50. I've been learning English for most of my life, so I think in it quite often. Also I use English in my everyday life wherever I can. I've been learning English for most of my life, so I think in it quite often. Also I use English in my everyday life wherever I can. All of my personal stuff is in English, I read and write Russian only at work. But it doesn't help much, because I think inside my head, not out loud. If I start talking to myself, my roommates are going to think I'm insane, lol. The problem is not only in my English but also (mostly) in the fact that I'm surrounded by strangers, which makes me stutter even in Russsian. And there's also a feeling that I'm on some exam and people are judging me, even though in my mind I know that they don't give a shit about me or whatever I say. less
Actually, I was quite fond of the Metro books, back in the old times when there weren't any games based on them. As for the games, I'm not a big fan of the post-apocalyptic genre, so I haven't played the games. I live in Moscow though, and I can tell you that the Moscow Metro is really spectacular, it's like the Blackreach and all the Dwemer cities)) It will be one of the things I'll miss after I escape from here.
The Croatian language sounds a little bit like Russian, doesn't it?)))

That makes sense, I see where you're coming from. It's hard to get a complete sense of the race even now after seeing their culture and society in their own lands of Khenarthi's Roost and Reaper's March, but those areas do shed a bit more ligh...

That's quite a conclusion to come to, Thori. May I ask how you've come to that opinion? The way I see it, the Khajiit are pretty heavily into self-improvement but not just their physicality. In Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi we could possibly sa...

That's fair enough. Would you say that maybe their view on what we'd call Daedra indicates they are more accepting of another's nature? Like, they accept that Merrunez is a destructive little tyke, but they see him as a kitten because of that....
This careless attitude towards Daedra speaks volumes about the Kitties, and this is a thing I particularly dislike about them. Such a mindset can lead to so many potential disasters, it's scary.

Almost the entirety of Russian territory is on Asia, though, no?
Actually, about 1/3 of it is in Europe, and most of the major cities are in that part. I live in Moscow, the capital, which is in the middle of the European part. The whole place is literal Skyrim, with winter that lasts 2/3 of the year and full of wild barely-literate Nords. less

To cure herself she would have to kill another and condemn their soul? Sure, she’d killed bandits before but she’d never even considered capturing their souls. The very thought made her feel sick. But she couldn’t continue like this either, she may have managed to keep herself from feeding on an innocent but surely it was only a matter of time before she lost control…
