I'm not all together leaving the website and I may yet be back with more of this story or another. I wasn't prepared to start a story like this and although I had a lot of fun with what I achieved, I can't commit to updating this regularly and I've simply lost my interest with it. I'm going to continue reading and writing in my spare time, I'm working on another personal project as it happens but it's all experience and sharing my work here was the motivation I needed to start thinking seriously about improving my writing. less
Oh wow, that long huh? :) I guess I never had the time or desire to make anything worth introducing myself for til now is all. Thanks for the welcome Zonnonn.

I have a blog over at the story corner called "This Woman of Ice" which you can find here I'm not a professional writer by any means but I've been having a lot of fun writing it. I currently have written three chapters, each one a new short installment telling the tale of my own somewhat unique take on the dragonborn, an ice-mage assassin, from the perspective of an as yet unidentified travelling story-teller. Chapter four is on the way, it's looking to be a good one, I hope to see some of you there soon. It feels good to finally be contributing to a site that I've been reading from for so long. less

I think part of using this kind of narrator is that I have a very limited perspective and much of the details are made up of guesswork on the story-tellers part so if he doesn't expand on the escape from Helgen it's because he simply doesn't know. I was planning to say a bit more about it in retrospect though for as much as the narrator doesn't know he isn't afraid to make stuff up, to embellish the story and make it a bit more personal.
As for the length of the chapters, I know they're short but it's at an amount that I'm comfortable writing for now, I still might go back and add to things later. less
The "Woman of Ice" story is a tale told by an as yet unidentified wandering storyteller about a figure known as Eroteme, an Ice-Mage and Assassin who had a significant part to play in the Dragon Crisis of 4E:201. The information in the story was compiled ...

Get some artwork, pictures up here!!! You've done such a wonderful job with portraying This Woman of Ice so don't ruin what you have accomplished. Look for artwork or anything which inspires your character and the Ice Woman and post some of those pics here...

I just hope that you stay on the site for as long as possible. You've already did a great job with This Woman of Ice. It would be a shame to see you stop with the story.
There are many stories of this woman but the one that I know, the long one, began shortly after the turning of the second century into the third: Fourth Era, year two hundred and one. This was the year the dragons returned, in fact this was the exact day ...

Hallo! Though I like this, I gotta agree with D3LTAFOX in that the escape from Helgen could use some expansion. Still, glad to see another writer in TSC!

Picture our main characters, then have someone else tell their story..... There will be gaps, details which are based on half truths and some of it lies. Only the story teller knows which are true and which aren't.
Side Note:
Don't worry about the length of the chapters. just keep doing what you are doing. it works.......

What to do, what to do. Make a build? An RP profile? A lore article? So much to do, so much time to do it. The Vault seems kinda empty, and it's our job to liven the place up. Let's get to work people!
