  Enchanting levelled really easily by simply looting enchanted items off corpses and disenchanting them. Most NPCs seem to spawn with at least one, and the richest can even have two enchanted items. That will propel you into the 50s, at which point I started the usual grind of buying cheap soul gems, filling them then enchanting iron daggers or leather bracers with the most expensive enchantment available.

Sounds like a sold build you're running, I actually quite like 2H and Restoration myself. As for how many trees you're using, six is a solid number. Using all three crafting skills might be a bit of a grind, but if you enjoy using them, then by all means use them! 
  I have a couple resources you might like that give some nice info on leveling the crafting skills. Here's the page I use for Alchemy. It lays out all the best combinations of ingredients to get the most valuable potions, and therefore the most exp gain. 
  Enchanting works a little differently since the value of enchanted items are additive, that is, the base value of the item i simply added to the value of the enchantment when the item is made. This means that if you get really valuable enchantments like Banish, Paralyze, or Muffle, you can enchant really cheap items with the, and still get a huge payoff.

  Thanks for your help.  Sites like this and people like you make the game so much more fun.  Believe it or not, I went what I am guessing is a Paladin type build.  Why, I cant really say when assassins and Necros / Warlocks are usually my thing,  So, I am ...  moreThanks for your help.  Sites like this and people like you make the game so much more fun.  Believe it or not, I went what I am guessing is a Paladin type build.  Why, I cant really say when assassins and Necros / Warlocks are usually my thing,  So, I am using a 2 handed hammer, restoration robe with all armor being heavy.  Went Imperial with putting perks into Resto (heavily), 2HD, heavy armor, Smithing, Alch and Ench.  Not sure if that's too many trees or not, opinion?  Any advice?  Also, really no clue to to efficiently level Enchanting or Alch.  Hoping to get a crossbow and have been taking advantage of Faendal for training Arch.  Best wishes   less

Previously am EQ and WoW fanatic and then quit WoW about a year and a half ago mainly due to the people.  Quit right before an expansion came out.  I went back to EQ for a few months and quit gaming altogether.  Found Skyrim now and love it on 360, have plans later to play it on PC when I get a better rig.  Anyway, love this site and wanted to say hi and great job!  Best wishes!  P.S.   Generally speaking though, if you're having trouble getting into a character, you might try the the Role Playing group for some inspiration. This post especially, which gives you a list of questions to fill out about your character and really get a sense of him or her.

  Hi there.  Sorry, didnt know you left a message for me.  I have tried a basic warrior, Paladin and a mix of who knows what.  I would like a character thats a DE, or HE on the evil side, heavy on the magic that doesnt rely on summoned creatures.  I really ...  moreHi there.  Sorry, didnt know you left a message for me.  I have tried a basic warrior, Paladin and a mix of who knows what.  I would like a character thats a DE, or HE on the evil side, heavy on the magic that doesnt rely on summoned creatures.  I really like Tradeskills and found it fun running into places to mine ore to transmute it later.  My 3rd run I was using Conjuration to raise fallen enemies to fight for me but two things bottomed that out - they rarely followed me to fight and could not stand the sound they made when they were next to me.  Being a caster with a one-hander and a shield or a staff would be cool.  Now on the other hand, what rivals all of this is the Assassin type builds. The whole sneak, pick locks and pockets and of course, archery.  Any opinions / helps you could offer would be great.  Thanks.  less
