    It's doable, just slightly gimmicky!

This is pretty game-changing, Mr James. I think this could be the discovery that finally puts warriors ahead of destruction mages. If I understood correctly, there's no affect on magical attacks.

none, it specifically targets physical damage.

Destruction magic can be combined with the 'Drain Vitality' shout for a similarly powerful effect regarding status damage (magicka/stamina).

I wonder what effect a weakness to magic poison might have?

So I could make a character, with nothing but telekinesis, Marked for Death, and 20 knives in my pocket and be golden? Knife thrower build anyone? I reserve this idea, although inspiration comes from Anderson and his build Malkoran's Spilt Soul, a ghost whose only method of damage output is fall damage (human vampiric grip glitch) and throwing things with telekinesis. It's got a few tricks up it's sleeve as well, but those are the only direct damage outputs.

Strangely, I can confirm that it's a viable tactic(see my poltergeist move), but you should continuously spam MFD on everything and (IMO) you need another combat style too. How do you think to make a build based only on this? You need the 3 words, an expert and expensive alteration spell. You can find a telekinesis tome only at redwater's den during Dawguard main quest.Until the moment you gain the words, the spell and the dragon souls, what are you thinking to do? I repeat, you need another combat style too. You could use followers or sneak attacks(assassin's blade) or something else. Keep me posted, I am very curious and maybe I can help you.

Offhand I'd guess it would boost the effect, might be worthwhile to try out if I ever get around to it.

This is very informative. :-) Did you guys really thought it was useless? Never occured to me. I mean, yes, in my early playthroughs I didnt really made use of this except at early levels when I needed an edge fighting the unexpected snow bear or dragon encounters, but I never thought it was useless. It reminded me of Dazzle's ultimate in DotA. I hope there are more like these. :-)

Sad, I love using maces and warhammers and MD is one of my favorite shouts :|

I can only wager a guess on behalf of others but for myself I think the assumption came from me always associating MFD with assassination since the first word most people will learn comes from the DB Sanctuary.  MFD seemed redundant when I could already do 30x sneak damage and for a long time my idiot brain just never put things together.
