So, Mourning Wars. How serious is this? It seems like a TES version of laser quest or something, like all these tree trolls trolling each other on a tribal scale. Is it the stuff of lasting feuds or a light-hearted giggle because there is nothing else for them to do other than fuck?

More like the other thing. They just do it to kill time, I guess. Just a sport. 

Whole war concept for Bosmer is more of a sport. I mean, think about it. They don´t give a shit about the reasons other races have to wage war. Conquest of new land, riches and such. The only thing that makes sense for Bosmer to wage war for could be the throne - Camoran Usurper is the perfect example. 

So Mourning Wars are like small scale civil war combined with having fun, all because of Bosmer are just bored.
