You ought to give us a shot. Out guild has some amazing stamblade players who can help you develop your skill set as well as help you farm for best-in-slot gear. In fact tonight, a few of us are taking turns running dungeons to help each other get the best possible gear for their class.
I'm pretty content right now with the Clever Alch and Flanking setup, really. What other gear is worth farming as far as I go?
Clever Alchemist and Flanking are great for ganking in PvP, for sure. If you want to do more open-world PvP, 1vX kind of stuff or if you want to do some PvE dungeons, it would not be very ideal. But hey, play as you want. That's the beauty of the game.
I suppose I really need a PvE set now that you mention how specific my particular setup is. Any recommendations?
I'm not a Nightblade expert by no means, but:
For dropped sets: I'd say Spriggans (1vX PvP and a secondary set for dungeons) and Sunderflame (dungeons).
For crafted sets: Hundings Rage and Nightmother's Gaze
