    Or you're severely overthinking this.

Because things change, thorien. Things get added and taken away.

Shor is Shor, but then you have this reincarnating spirit of Shor that pops up as mortals. Ysmir is, or most likely was, a hero-god to the Nords. Just like the men of Cyrodiil turned Reman into a Hero-God, that is a hero of their people whom they deified. Ysmir was a title given to great men, and it represents something to their culture. Shezarrine are often great kings or warriors.

Does this make sense to you?

I get it that Ysmir is the title they gave to heroes, but did they think all those heroes incarnations of one soul?

If yes, then didn't they know that that soul is the one and same Shor?

If no, then why make all the heroes one god? When a new hero appears and is called Ysmir, where does that place the previous one?

Yes, they know of the reincarnating spirit. Shezarrine is the Cyrodiilic term given to them based off their name for Shor; Shezar.

That doesn't make it the exact same thing as Shor. Why is this such an issue?

Because it is Shor. It's his soul reincarnating.

Stuhn = bear. Stuhn is the Nordic version of Stendarr, the first patron of the Imperial Legion (before Talos). The original Legions used the Bear as their symbol. In Skyrim, the Stormcloaks fight under the banner of the Bear.

Could anyone help me locate the original source for this Legion symbol claim?

What do people think of the "official" nordic pantheon now that's been a while since it was announced?

Don't know about people, but I am utterly confused about it. Don't know what to believe anymore.

"Official"? I reject that. It is just something which may have been and we can accept it or not.

Yeah I know it's not but I didn't know what else to call it.
