Character Build: The Curator

All images have been restored for this build. While I try my best to keep the formatting as close to the original as possible, there are some unavoidable differences as a result of differing platforms... for this I apologize.

Also, feel free to remove the 'Restored' banner at the end of the build--I put it there as a courtesy to let the reader know that the build has been worked on by somebody other than its original creator without his or her knowlege.

:D Thanks, Shin, it looks great. I'll gladly leave the banner at the bottom to show my appreciation.

It ought to look great; it's a fantastic looking build in the first place (I have always enjoyed your presentation style) ;D

I just wish SE would let me get it exactly the same.

I legit think this might be the best way to seek Skyrim SE...after my event build is done...I'm finally playing this. Legion is my spirit animal.

Dude, you gotta try this with a few atmospheric mods and some general travel restrictions. It's ridiculously fun. The best ones I can recommend to really get into the spirit are Point the Way, Lanterns of Skyrim, Darkness Falls, and Let There Be Light. Use these without fast traveling or even opening your map and I promise you will get lost and see Skyrim like you never have before.

Looks liek those are all Bethesda supported ones (I'm on PS4)? Thanks for the tips. As I said, once I'm done with my current event build, I'm all over this. I also wanted to start playing with some mods, so I think that's perfect!

It's funny you mention seeing things like never before, bc I swear I've found more than a dozen locations I never had even discovered in the old PS3 playthroughs. I've been loving getting lost in the (retextured) landscape...

I had to check your profile to make sure you were PS4 since I am too and I didn't want to link to the wrong platform. And same! I discovered a place recently called...something. I can't remember, but it was a brand new dungeon. I even approached Saarthal from an entirely new direction and didn't recognize it at first. I was thinking about this while I played - it's so easy to get stuck in pattern of behavior and see the same things over and over again. Something I've learned in just a week's time is that I'm actually rather unfamiliar with the roads. Which is ironic considering their purpose. And SSE makes traveling by foot more rewarding even without mods! Bethesda seems to have significantly increased the foot traffic on roads, including those random unnamed races that try to start a fight with you. You know the kinds: "Orc", "Argonian", "Nord", etc. So, can't really say enough good things about embracing the wanderlust spirit.

Mine too Motty. Many times have the hoots of this great owl guided my way back to the light.

Good work on the restoration Shinjin. You have curated The Curator!
