I was able to get on and play for a bit tonight, and I tried that. Don't know if it's been patched or I'm doing it wrong, but it didn't work for me. It's too bad, because a few extra potions would have been nice. I might give it a try again just in case I did something stupid... it's kind of reoccurring pattern for me :D

I read that very thing somewhere, but today when I revisited... no philters. All the doors, traps, and everything had reset, but still nothing. Evidently I've got some pretty crummy luck with that type of stuff--think I'll take the high road and not even try the pickpocket thing... this way I won't spoil it for everybody else xD

That's a pretty tall order with this build... No perks in sneak, and when I went in I couldn't have been much more than level 30-35. Would muffle be enough, or would I have to chug some invisibility potions as well? In my play through he was on to me pretty quick... Although I didn't make a point of being super-sneaky either.

Okay, no problem, i'll explain it again... Go to whiterun(inside, at the gate) or Ragged flagon(outside) or custom HF house then,

1 drop your potion(s)

2 tell to your follower to grab the potion(s)

3 tell him\her to wait there

4 exit by the door(cell) then re-enter (you'll see the potion(s) on the ground, don't take it\them!!!)

5 speak with your follower an take the potion(s) from his inventory

6 repeat the step 1

Warning!!!! Follow this steps only and don't try in other ways or your potions will disappear by your inventory or the game will freeze when you use it.

Until you don't take the potions by yourself, they will respawn in that place, Sometime, when you drop only one potion, that one will not appear or when you drop 2 of them, you'll find only one, so it's better to drop several of them in one time(if you can).

This glitch works with almost any item in the game(not with aetherial shards, jagged crown, Ahzidal armor, etc). I used it heavily to dupe jarrin roots(after the quest was ended) or to dupe my custom potions.

Ah! As per usual, I screwed up the process; I gave the potions to him... didn't drop them. I'll try this just before I leave for work :)

Hmmm, still no luck. I had to rush out the door, so I didn't have time to try to dupe another item just to see if it was user error on my part... your instructions were pretty clear though. I will play around with it a bit when I get home from work.
