Haha yeah the beginning is tedious to me to after a million characters of mine went through it haha, to bad there's no character creation menu when you leave the cave like in obvlivion. Would help with roleplaying too

This is a really good build but I was disappointed because the name made it sound like a doctor who build ):

I think what I love most about this build is how everything fits 100% into existing lore. Even being Dragonborn seems a natural fit here; many builds seem to sidestep it, despite using Shouts (often calling them "special moves"). I think it's because a lot of the RP in those builds would be broken a bit if the character was also Dovahkiin in addition to whatever convoluted backstory that's been set up. This guy, though...it just fits. Given that I love the Main Quest and the story of Skyrim, it's important to me that any build I run fits into that.

Something else I really like is that the build is "finished" at level 38, instead of the more common 50. I've never gotten a character to level 50, ever; I think my highest was the mid-30s. That's a much more reasonable goal to shoot for, and gives breathing room to add other skills later on if you want.

I've been trying for a while to decide on a new playthrough, and I think I'll go with this. One change, though- I'll be playing a Clever Woman. I actually think it still fits the lore very well- instead of a old, grim man possessing ancient knowledge and power, you have a young, mysterious woman possessing powers and knowledge beyond that of ordinary mages. The idea that women can possess strange wisdom and have connections to the unseen is a very common thread in ancient tribal cultures, and it fits well into the Nordic milieu. The "wise woman" is a well-worn trope for a reason. I can see the jarls of Skryim dealing with this odd newcomer whose youthful visage hides the ancient power and wisdom she offers.

    Man, I love this build.

I really love your builds, but are you willing to spread past Nord builds? Perhaps into other territory, like Breton or Khajiit?

Ooh, 'wise woman' would be great!  I'm not sure if it's possible to make a freaky old lady in Skyrim (since the game wants you to be sexayyy), but I'd play that. :)  Thanks for the kind words.

The Arrowsworn was a Redguard; The Evoker was a Dunmer.  But neither of those really got too deep into the lore.
